I love the set. It came delivered on time and the guys took it into my backyard It was in 2 big boxes one had the chairs which only the swivel chairs had to be assembled (seat put on base) the rest just needed their cushions put on The other box had the table which came with a metal grid to to lay the ceramic tile pieces into 4 legs and that center metal piece below the top The screws u need are already in their positions in the table so just unscrew and screw in the legs, don't tighten the screws yet The center metal piece took a little aligning to match up with the legs the screws for it are in the center of the legs The swivel seats just have a metal cylinder u place into the base then place the seat The table height is adjustable U get an extra ceramic tile piece The cushions are nice
The product is great and looks great. Nice little set. The bad comes from the shipping. I got the table delivered and it was dented on the top. Two swivel chairs were scratched pretty bad in a few areas. The shipping guys told me they would notate that the chairs were damaged and swing by and drop off two other chairs later in the week to swap them out. Of course they did not do so at least not yet... pretty disappointed with the whole experience right now. I will not be buying anything else from Sears that has to be shipped.
CON: The metal surrounding the pop out tiles has rusted in most of the squares due to weather conditions, and we’d often leave our umbrella open to try and protect all of the metal surrounding each tile!!
Bought this set about 3 summers ago, but with tan cushions, and a nicer pattern to the tiles. Very nice set, picked it because it had less opportunity to catch and/or hold water than some other sets (that would leave rust marks on the deck). Found I could stack the chairs - carefully, because the legs would get scratched from rubbing - and put them all under one cover. It sits out year-round with covers, and is still in great shape. the cushions go in a storage box, but also drain and dry quickly if caught in the rain. I count it a good purchase, and get compliments on the neat tile table top. Also, since I don't use an umbrella, I put a small gas tabletop fire pit on it (from ******), and the small gas bottle fits perfectly, attached through the umbrella hole under the table.
