WORST PURCHASE!

I purchased this 5 months ago from kmart with the replacement plan. It broke after 3 months and I have been going back and forth with the replacement plan. I can not say how cheaply made this is and we didn't even have a bad storm or anything but the metal completely bent on the frame. It can no longer stand and now the replacement plan company is even WORSE to deal with. When I purchased this I was told "no questions asked" and that it will be as easy as filing a claim online. The online system never worked, I went back and forth with these people that I can barely understand, I called over 10 times and just today got a claim that is most likely not going to be covered, I emailed over 4 times and they even spelt my name wrong and now I have this huge gazebo which cant fit inside my house sitting outside laying on the ground for two months. I will never buy anything else from kmart EVER because of this terrible experience I have with them. Their staff needs to be properly trained on the items and plans they're selling and kmart will take no responsibility. I don't want money, I just want an item I paid a lot of money for to be able to be used again. This is poorly made and I do not recommend anyone pay the money for this. Regret buying this.

Do not buy this item

We have had it for less than 6 months and the canopy fell completely apart. We haven't had any bad weather. Worthless piece of junk.

Good except Canopy has flaws in design

|

Pros:
Putting it together was quick and easy. Didn't take long and I did it by myself. No Screws, just clicks together. It would have been even easier with a helper.
I did screw it into my cement and it has not had a problem with the framing.

Cons:
The canopy fabric has a design flaw. There are not enough Velcro tabs to hold it in place properly when it rains. I get was sitting in each setion. The drain holes they provide are way too high that I took my drill and put holes at the bottom of each water collection spot. This seems to fix my water collection issue except I have marks on the top now from where the water has been collecting.

So you might be thinking, maybe he didn't secure it properly. Trust me, I did. Even if they added velco straps in the correct spots, I think water would have collected anyway since the drain holes are too high.

Not bad

|

First, Sears had this regular $600 on sale for $300. It will never be $600. $300 is a lot for this and any sale should be from there.

We like the frame. It took my wife and I about half an hour to put it together. No tools required but you will need a ladder to hold up the center while someone connects it to the lower frame.

On a nice day it is great, gives you shade and keeps the bugs out. But it is not water resistant. Our first rain water settles at the ends then leaks through the fabric.

Overall, we like this, it is simple to set up and take down, looks decent. But we will have to buy a waterproof top and it is too expensive at $300.
