Piece of junk, weak, did not hear about rain and in the morning this was broken and on the ground. Weak metal and poorly design top that collects water.
We had pouring rain last night and the gazebo did not survive. The frame didn't handled the rain/weather. Had this up for 2 weeks! Very poor quality pple, do not buy.
I had purchased this item in July for my deck. We had a storm and the canopy collapsed and bent the framing. This product is not of good quality and I do not recommend buying it.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!
I bought this gazebo before there were any reviews. Had I known how horrible it is, I would have never wasted my money.
I had the gazebo delivered a few weeks before Memorial day. I was in the middle of getting my deck installed, so I waited until Memorial Day weekend to put it up. I noticed when I put the fabric on that it seemed a little loose, but otherwise thought it was ok.
A couple weeks after I installed it, it rained. Instead of running down the roof of the gazebo as it should, the rain water collected and made the roof sag. I went out and immediately emptied the water. The next time it rained, the same thing happened.
I contacted sears (at this point it was early July). I thought maybe the fabric roof was defective and they could replace it. They said it is after 30 days, so they couldn't help me. But, they gave me the number to Garden Oasis to contact them and see if they can do something about the issue.
I called Garden Oasis multiple times. No one answers. I left a message. No one calls back.
Time goes on and every single time it rains, the roof collects more and more water as the fabric gets more stretched. I diligently empty the water after each rainfall. Finally, during another rainfall, the frame could no longer handle the weight of the roof with water and it collapsed.
I had this Gazebo less than 2 months. Sears refused to do anything about it, because I was past the return deadline. The manufacturer refuses to even answer their phone. So I am out my money and have no gazebo.
I've had a gazebo before and it is not normal to collect water. I realize the roof isn't made to withstand major weather events, but it's not like this was a hurricane. These were standard summer showers. Their response to someone else's review is that the gazebo is for decorative purposes only, not to withstand weather. Why would you have an OUTDOOR product that is not meant to withstand even the smallest amount of weather??? Do they expect me to take down the gazebo at every chance of a shower?
I am really disappointed in Sears for (1) selling such a horrible product and (2) not standing behind the products they sell. This has really soured my opinion of them and is making me think twice about spending money there again.
