The hardtop Gazebo is like adding a 3 season room onto our house

We really like this polycarbonate, hardtop Gazebo! I would have given it a 5 star, except that it was not easy to assemble. It is impossible to assemble using the directions as written. But luckily my husband and I are both engineers and we figured out how to assemble it. It took a total of about 12 hours to assemble and at times, the extra hands of 3 of our teenagers were very helpful! After all of that though, we all are enjoying our outdoor furniture in it. We have an outdoor sectional sofa and it is now located in it. No more having to cover up the sectional every night. The kids like hanging out in it with their friends.

Really like the privacy curtains and the screen too. The privacy curtains can cut down on a cool breeze by keeping 2 of the sections closed. We close it up each night though to keep the rain out and decrease the likely hood of a big wind to carry it away (has happened to a friend that does not have privacy curtains.)

We are curious to find out how well it holds up during our Michigan winters though. We definitely will not be taking it apart, since it was such a pain to put together.

gazebo is 3 years old

we love it, but it was difficult to assemble. It has many tiny holes in it from hale storms, and the mesquito net needs replacing and they don' have any in stock so i guess we'll just have to mend it till they get another shipment.

Hardtop Gazebo

|

We purchased this hardtop gazebo a few weeks ago. The instructions were not very good and it was not that simple to put together. We called Sears to have someone come out to install it, they wanted over $500.00 to install. My husband, a friend and myself we installed this gazebo in as the other consumer wrote 12 hours. Now that it's up, it looks really nice. My concern would be how it will hold up in the Upper Marlboro, Maryland winters.
