Disappointed

I purschased the 12x16 gazebo. I was so excited! The thing was a nightmare to put together. Pieces were extremely heavy and the roofing panels keep falling back out before you had a chance to secure them in place. After it was assembled, it was beautiful! Unfornately the next day was sunny and hot. I was looking forward to getting out of the sun under this gazebo but the light filters through the roof and it was hot under it! My patio furniture was hot! Not somewhere for shade! After a call to the manufacturer of this product, he said it was "suppose to be warming." Plus they call it "Four Season" but that only means it will hold 2 1/2 inches of snow and then it is recommended you clear it.... I returned mine.

Great Gazebo

|

It took two builders 8 hrs. to put the gazebo up. Now that it is operational we love it. It is roomy and sturdy. We have had strong winds on several occasions, rain, hail and it has with stood it all. This was a bear to put up; not for an inexperienced person. The canvas is not the cheap stuff used in most gazebos. Both screen and outside canvas is durable and it was easy to install. We will get a lot of use out of this gazebo now that the weather is finally warming up. I love the fact that the roof is permanent; not much effort will be required to put it away for the winter. Big improvement over what we bought two years ago that lasted two years and now is in a trash heap. It is really worth the price and, it looks good too.

Great once it's done!!!

Listen to the other reviews regarding how difficult it is to put together. Took 2 extremely handy family members about 9 hours to complete. Not for the impatient. However, we've had this gazebo now for almost a year. We LOVE it and use it daily. It's sturdy. Attractive. We can go outside when it's drizzly or rainy and stay dry. It lets light in, but creates shade, too. It's prefect for our northern California coastal lifestyle. If you can get past the assembling process, I would highly recommend this gazebo.

happy finally up but unhappy about workmanship of panels

|

This does not come with very good instructions my husband and son put this together and it took 7 hrs one day and another 5 the next due to incorrect instructions. Then as it was going together there were a few missing weather stripping and one of the panels had a very bad melt hole in it. not all the way through but enough to look bad and the piece below it has a crinkle at the top. Some of the panels don't fit exact as they are cut crooked. I wish company had described better on the panels. Would not have spent this much money on it. hopefully this will last. it is beautiful after up and secure but hoping the company will do something about the quality of the panels, but of course it is made in china. will let u know what happens with company about panels. Don't want to return as i'm sure it will be a pain in the butt to take down and ship back.
