So Far, So Good!

We purchased this 17 cu ft. upright freezer just a couple of months ago to replace a problematic, ailing Electrolux fridge that had been relegated to the garage. One of the key features on this GE unit was that it was advertised as "Garage-Ready" indicating that it was made to deal with the high garage temps in the summer and cold temps in the winter. As luck would have it, July 2019 here in Alabama has been one of the hottest on record and we are pleased to say that the unit is doing just fine. I would indeed recommend this unit. Noise level of these units is often a question many have asked, but as this one is out in our garage, that's not something I can comment on. It does make this quick, short-lived little 'fog-horn-like" noise upon closing the door. We believe that this is due to the unit insuring a tight seal...and it is indeed tight. It takes a good, solid tug to open the door!

I cant comment on the purchase because its on back order and I wont get it until August 20. If I get it sooner I would greatly redo the survey

I ordered this product on June 11th. The online delivery said 3 days plus. I figured it would take a couple of weeks at the most. My scheduled delivery date is August 14th, just over two months after I purchased this product.
