Replaced a Broken Microwave with Updated Model that Didn't Last 3 Years
|I had the older version of this microwave already in my house that I purchased in 98. I suspect the previous owners had it since 1994. It lasted up until 2016 without issues except the door handle was under-designed and required additional tape assist. When it finally broke for good I decided to replace the microwave with this same model since it appeared to now have a more robust handle design. That was Sept 2016. Tonight, roughly 3 years later, I went to warm a glass of tea and I heard a zap. No more microwave. No lights. No action. Game over. Pretty sad that this GE appliance only made it 3 years. I'm tired of buying low quality products that end up in the landfill prematurely. Do better, please.

|Bad, don't buy, after 13 months of very light use, it is not workable anymore, it trips the circuit breaker once it is started.
Yes. Unless you are venting to the outside. You may need a adapter in that case.
