The scooped out door handle on the top of the frig tends to catch crumbs from the counter. Its designed with tapered ends makes it very difficult to clean out.
If you only drink Bordeaux style wines (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot), you will find this product good, but very expensive. If you drink Rhone and Burgundy style wines (Syrah, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay), you will find that they scrape on the drawer above and the label scratches off. GE would have done much better to reduce the number of drawers and space the drawers ¼" wider. I would love to return this product, but it is too late. I read a review written in 2009 that said they had informed GE and would update if they got a satisfactory response. That 1 star review was never changed.
I love everything about the product except in its current configuration it does not accommodate the larger champagne bottles without losing a shelf. I think it could be modified to allow more depth in one shelf.
No issues, cools well, I like the auto light feature
Purchased early November, 2018 to replace a worn out wine refrigerator from another manufacturer. (We have 3 40 bottle wine refrigerators from 3 different manufacturers.) For the past 2 months we could not be happier with the styling, performance and operation of this refrigerator. I consider this a mid priced unit and (so far) works as well as more expensive models.
We have had other Profile by GE appliances and all have performed well.
Brought this unit when purchased my house 3 years ago. Now it breaks down.
Bought in Nov. 2018. Looks great, runs quiet keeps wine cool.
