Very disappointed to discover that this wrench was made in China. After only a couple of uses the ratchet end fell apart. It's no wonder to me why Sears is heading out of business. I'll stick with the American made tools,a bit more expensive, but well worth it.
This wrench looks great but I have yet to use it. But using experience with GearWrench’s 15/16” version of this, I do expect it to be great even when applying about 200 pounds of torque in places where a conventional torque wrench will not fit.
We needed a wrench that could put a large amount of pressure on our ratcheting strap. Not only that but the wrench has to sit outside in the elements and perform whenever we need it. This is the wrench we have chosen for the job. And it works even covered in ice!!
This wrench started skipping gears the first time I used it.Gonna try Craftman next time
great wrench built like a tank i own several gearwrench tools and love them ive broken a few of the smaller ones in the past but the larger ones really hold up well
