Perfect size

I purchased my Evolve grill 4 months ago. I love the size and the versatility with extra plates you can purchase separately. It worked great at first, but now food sticks to the grill plates and the omelet plates I purchased. I wanted to purchase more plates for my grill, but now I'm afraid they may stick too. It does make really nice large waffles.

Stuck Food

Hamburgers stick to both the top and bottom plates. When the grill is opened it tears them to pieces. The plates were non-stick at first, but it doesn't take long for them to start to stick. Cleaning them afterwards is a nightmare.

Love it, but....

|

I purchased this product over six months ago and I love it...but I can no longer use it because the up and down arrow buttons no longer work.. All I can do is power it on, it preheats at 300 degrees for 5 minutes. I have to turn it off and power it on again for additional time (5 mins). It's impossible to cook a meal like this. I would hate to get rid of it but in its present condition it is useless to me.

Great for cooking

Good overall for the price. It cooks a lot at one time too. Especially when family comes in from town or parties.

Best George Foreman I've had yet!

|

We've had this one for over a year now and by far the best one. We've been buying George Foreman grills for about 20 years and generally 3 years is time for a new one. They get used quite a bit. My favorite thing to cook on it is bacon! The grease drips into the tray, and it's not scalding hot to dump when done. The bacon comes out great, I think even better than in the oven(tried it several times). I love that the evolve makes a good Panini press too! I also got rid of my waffle maker with this one too. A very versatile kitchen tool. The ceramic plates are great.
I only have one complaint and this has happened to all my George Foreman grills. The upper plate(only) gets a build up in the middle of a burnt on substance. I never could get it off on the others, but with the ceramic plates it cleans up quickly with a magic eraser. That's the only thing I find that works and doesn't hurt the finish. Nothing seems to stick, a little cooking spray for most foods is all you need and not for all foods either.

Non Lasting Non Stick Plates

|

I purchased this as a gift to myself 6 months ago. I have been using George Foreman products for many years and never had an issue. I’ve even gifted several to my kids as gifts for college. I can’t say the same for this unit. I am highly disappointed with the quality of the non stick surface. Worked great at first but as time went in the non stick has lost its non stick ability.

Love it

I've been reading the reviews here and I can't say that I've been even close to as unlucky as others appear to have been. I've been using my Evolve for 2 years now and, aside from some minor signs of expected wear, the plates have held up just fine and nothing ever sticks to it so long as I use a non-stick spray (as suggested by the product instructions) prior to every use.
