I've been looking for a am/fm cassette/cd combo player for a while and I finally found it in Sears! This is great for the old schoolers that don't like soooo much technology! Used points and coupon and got a better price !
I just got this from my grandparents for Christmas and I like it, CD and Radio work fine but the cassette player is rough. Some of my tapes work just fine and sound really good, but most of them have a speed problem. They either go blazing fast or the speed would jump up and down, and what was weird is that on one of the tapes that was rolling around at the speed of sound, the other side was at the correct speed and sounded pretty clear. This feature is the main thing I use because I already have a CD player on my small stereo and I have a huge old Fisher stereo for radio. I've never encountered a tape player that is this picky about tapes
I bought this about 8 months ago. I was pretty happy with it. Used it in my home office as I worked. Then, about one month into use, the CD stopped being recognized in the unit. Wouldn't work anymore. The place I purchased it from only has a 30 day return policy. Won't buy this one again!

This is a great little boombox! As others have stated, this is a no nonsense unit that plays my CD's and cassette tapes and also has a AM - FM radio. Sound quality is exceptional. The only slight negative is that the AM tuner is a bit touchy, but once locked onto a station it doesn't drift.
All in all, a great buy!
