[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Haier 50 pint dehumidifier gets 5 stars from me! Let me be clear, I live in a 100+ yr. old farmhouse with a cellar roughly 2000sq which quickly becomes dank and musty without a dehumidifier running. This unit comes fully assembled and extremely easy to program. I set the unit to 60% humidity, cranked the fan to high and attached a hose for continuous drainage. I did switch over to the smart dry feature after 24 hours. It has a nice LED control panel which is user friendly with multiple convenience options like a 24 hr. on/off timer, auto restart, full bucket alarm, smart dry, and filter check. It's fairly quiet while operating meaning I can not hear it unless I open the cellar door. My unit runs non-stop with hose drainage so it's pretty much self-sufficient and the best part is my cellar is dry and no musty odors.

I have it running just to ensure things don���t get musty in my detached garage and it���s done well in there but it really showed me what it���s capable of when my water heater started leaking. I had to wait three days for it to get repaired and brought this in to help me keep up with the leaking. It filled up fast and makes it manageable to where I could come in every 6 or so hours to mop up. This was a big help to make sure things didn���t get moldy. It also looks sleek and isn���t loud. I would absolutely recommend!
Nice dehumidifier
|[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put this dehumidifier in my basement. My basement had always felt damp, but I never measured the humidity levels. I was really suprised at just how much moisture this unit removes from the air. I empty the tank often, way more often than I need to, and it seems like I'm dumping atleast a gallon or more each time. This unit works great.

It is very easy to adjust the settings to your liking or you can use the automatic setting which I am doing. It shuts off automatically when water reservoir is full but you can also have the water going directly into a drain if available.

Good dehumidifier
|[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got to try the Haier ENERGY STAR 50 Pint Dehumidifier and overall like the product. It seems to effectively dehumidify the basement, the hose attachment makes it so I don���t have to empty the bucket and so far there has not been any ice built up on the filter like I���ve had with a different dehumidifier. Easy to setup and use.
