The medium size fit my bichon perfectly on the body part. The legs were the issue. Every time she would go to take a step, her foot would go up into the leg. The pulls on each leg to tighten them do not work at all. No matter how snug we would try to make the leg hole with the pull, it would just go back to being loose within a few seconds. There was no way of keeping the slider in place once you tightened it. This looks like it would have been a really warm coat for our dog. The material was top notch. It's a shame that there were defects in the quality of the parts that are necessary to use the product. For the price you are charging for these, everything should work as intended. This was a disappointment to say the least.
Okay... So this is probably the most expensive piece of clothing I've ever purchased for my dog. Sadly, even more expensive than the winter coat I bought for myself. But that aside, this is the best quality winter attire available for dogs. Perfect for keeping your dog warm and dry from the elements when out in the snow. Living up north, we frequently have to go for walks in blizzards and freezing rain during the winter months. In the past, I've always put a cloth type sweater on my dog to go out in such conditions. And while I do believe it helped keep her warm, the sweater was always soaked and needed to dry for several hours after a walk. This dog coat has solved that problem altogether. The design keeps her warm and dry from neck to tail and the coat can be completely dried afterwards with a single paper towel. The fact that this doggy coat has legs on it is a super-plus as well. Most dog clothing does not have legs. This coat is worth the expense and I definitely would recommend.
