When Will My Order Arrive?

UPS Shipped Items

Shipping time is the numberof business days (Monday-Friday) it takes a product to reach you from the dateit leaves our warehouse to when it arrives at its destination. For Standardshipping, the time varies based on the distance your order is traveling buttypically takes one to five business days. Expedited shipping time is generallytwo business days, based upon the time of day you place your order. Premiumshipping time is generally one business day, based upon the time of day youplace your order. Deliveries are not made on weekends or holidays.

The anticipated arrivaldate is reflected on the shipping options page or by using the shippingcalculator on the product page.

Freight Carrier Delivery

You will be notified ofyour delivery date and a 4-hour delivery window. If the delivery date isinconvenient for you, we will arrange another date. Typically, Special Handlingitems will be delivered in 7-12 business days. Freight carriers may not enteryour house or provide any setup services.

Sears Home Delivery

HomeDelivery will be made on the date selected from the calendar at check out. Ifyou do not receive a delivery date at check out, you will receive a call oremail with the delivery date. Sears Delivery Customers will receive two (2)*notification phone calls.See the Sears HomeDelivery information below for details.

GO Delivery

GODelivery , when available, will be made at the time indicated at check out. Youwill receive an e-mail message when your order has left for delivery. You mustbe present to receive GO Delivery .

Local Delivery is currently only available in parts of Boston, Chicago, NewYork City, and Washington D.C. Here's how it works:

How Do We Ship & Deliver Multiple Items?

Sears.com ships items asthey are available; therefore you may receive more than one delivery if youpurchase several items.

What Are Our Shipping & Delivery Methods?

Sears.com uses fourshipping methods: U.S. Postal Service, UPS package delivery, Home Delivery, GODelivery and Special Freight Carrier Delivery Handling. Not all methods areavailable for all items.

U.S. Postal Service is used to ship gift cards and allorders to APO/FPO* addresses.

*Pleasenote that although our website reflects a ship date based on the APO/FPO zipcode, we ask that you allow an additional 4-6 weeks for the military postalservice to deliver your package to its final overseas destination.

UPS package delivery is the primary methodof shipping for items weighing less than 150 pounds. In addition to Standardshipping, we offer Expedited (two-day air) and Premium (overnight) shippingoptions on many products. Additional fees are charged for Expedited and Premiumshipping.

Standard and Premium Freight Carrier Delivery please allow 8-10business days plus shipping time.

Standard Freight Carrier Delivery is used for itemsthat require special handling, are oversized, or weigh over 150 pounds. Certainproducts and/or brands may not qualify for Sears Home Delivery and instead maybe delivered via our Freight Carrier delivery service. These items are shippedby a freight carrier and are curb service. A person 18 years or older must beavailable to meet the delivery and sign for the product(s). Our threshold deliveryservice is available for business and residential customers. The driver willplace your purchases at the threshold of your door or in your garage. Thisservice does not include in-home delivery or set up. Freight Carrier delivereditems will be identified on the product detailed description page with a notebeginning “Freight Carrier Delivery Method Required”

Premium Freight Carrier Delivery is used for itemsthat require special handling, are oversized, or weigh over 150 pounds. Certainproducts and/or brands may not qualify for Sears Home Delivery and instead maybe delivered via our Freight Carrier delivery service. These items are shippedby a freight carrier and the driver will place your purchases, in your home inthe location you select. A person 18 years or older must be available to meetthe delivery and sign for the product(s). This delivery service is availablefor business and residential customers. This service includes in-home deliveryor set up. Freight Carrier delivered items will be identified on the productdetailed description page with a note beginning “Freight Carrier DeliveryMethod Required” 

Sears Home Delivery is used for select Searsitems and may include some basic unpacking and setup services. Delivery will bemade on the date selected by you from the calendar at check out. If you do notreceive a delivery date at check out, you will receive a call or email with thedelivery date. GO Delivery is availablein select areas for select Sears and third-party merchant items. GO Deliveryincludes inside threshold delivery and does not include unpacking, setup,installation or placement of items in a room. GO Delivery will be made on thedate and during the pre-arranged delivery window indicated at check out. Youwill receive an e-mail message indicating when your order has left fordelivery. Sears Home Delivery

The following delivery information and services apply toSears Home Delivered items only. These services do not apply to Freight Carrier or MyGofer deliveredproducts.

Prior to Delivery...What Every Customer Should Know

Sears Delivery Customerswill receive two (2)* notification phone calls:

1. Notification of delivery date: Seventy two (72)hours in advance of the scheduled delivery date, Sears will contact deliveryCustomers to verify the delivery date and details. Delivery Customers need tolisten to the entire message and respond accordingly to verify deliverydetails. Customers that fail to respond to the delivery details may receiveadditional calls at their primary or secondary phone numbers in an attempt toverify the delivery information. NOTE: If thedelivery date message is left on the Customer’s answering machine / voicemail,then the Customer should call the 1-800 phone number that is provided in themessage and respond accordingly.

2. Notification of delivery time: Sears automatednotification system will contact delivery Customers the evening before deliveryto provide the 2 hour delivery time window. NOTE: If the delivery time messageis left on the Customer’s answering machine, then Customer confirmation is notnecessary.
When needing to obtain the delivery time: Delivery time information is available the evening before thedelivery date, after 6:00 P.M. Call 800-732-7747 and selectoption 1 for instructions (option 2 for Spanish). Select option 1 again toenter the phone number under which the order was placed and follow thedirections provided.

CUSTOMERS NEED TO BE AVAILABLE FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE1st HOUR THROUGH THE END OF THE 2nd HOUR OF THEIR DELIVERY TIME WINDOW TOENSURE DELIVERY IS NOT MISSED.

IMPORTANT: If your home does not have the proper gas,electrical or water supply lines and shut-off valves required in theseguidelines, you can contact a local contractor or Sears Installation at800-326-8738 for installation prior to delivery (there is a separate charge forinstallation of supply lines or shutoff valves).

Accessories needed to connect appliances to home utilitiesmust be purchased or Delivery will be unable to connect the appliance.

Customer Responsibility:

· A responsible adult 18 years or older must bepresent during delivery.

· Put all house pets in a separate area fromthe delivery path

· If merchandise is to be left on the porch,garage or outside, a responsible neighbor or representative must accompany theDelivery Team and sign for delivery.

· In inclement weather, please make sure thereis a clear path from the street to the residence entrance (no ice, snow, debris,etc.)

Delivery Teams will:

· Remove one like item from the deliverypremises or relocate one like item to an accessible location on the deliverypremises for each new item delivered. Delivery Teams will not re-connectre-located appliances to the homes utilities.

· Connect delivered appliances to existing homeutilities following the "Specific Product Guidelines" on the reverseside of this document utilizing the connector lines that the manufacturersupplies or that Sears provides to the Delivery Teams. Delivery Teams can notutilize used connectors or Customer supplied connectors.

· Remove packing materials from the deliverypremises

· Occasionally need to use the Customers phoneduring or after delivery to place a Toll-Free call to the delivery office

· Install a Range - Anti-tip device for freestanding and slide-in ranges when providing a delivery with hook-up

· Determine the parts/accessories needed tosafely connect appliances to home utilities and offer to sell any needed parts,accessories or installation services not purchased at the time of the appliancesale. (Delivery Teams can use Customer supplied parts or accessoriesthat are new, meet Manufacturer requirements and meet the following"Product Specific Delivery Guidelines")

Delivery Teams can not:

· Remove their shoes, but will act safely withdue care to protect your home and merchandise.

· Lift/hoist over banisters or otherobstructions, or through windows to deliver merchandise.

· Relocate used appliances to a differentaddress

· Perform carpentry, electrical or plumbingwork.

· Install and hook-up a free standing orslide-in range without installing a Range - Anti-tip device

· Install appliance trim kits

If you need to rescheduleyour delivery, please contact 1-800-732-7747 to speak to one of our CustomerService Representatives.

In order to expedite yourrequest, please have your sales check number and the phone number that was usedwhen your order was placed easily available. Our Customer ServiceRepresentatives will do their best to accommodate your delivery date request.

Please keep in mind that,on the day of delivery, we do offer, a 1/2 hour call ahead to notify you thatthe delivery team is on their way. To request a 1/2 hour call ahead, pleasecontact our Customer Service Office.

· Verify the dryer venting within the home isclean and clear and vents outside to allow proper operation of the new dryer

· For convenience & safety, purchase adryer connection kit which includes a flexible metal vent tube, metal elbow and240V electrical cord (A new 240V electrical cord isrequired by the manufacturer)

Delivery Service will…

· Remove unit from carton and place laundryunit in location

· Remove tape, packing material and shippingrestraints

· Attach venting using new component orexisting rigid or flexible metal venting that is clean and not visibly damaged

· Connect the appliance following local codeand using a new electrical cord or new gas connector which is in the originalpackaging and not visibly damaged
Delivery can not use plastic venting, foil vent tubes or existingelectrical cord or existing gas connector.

· Provide the Customer with any unused ventingkit parts from the connection kit. (Unused venting parts can notbe refunded or re-sold)

· Connect water, gas and electrical

· Level the unit

· Short cycle test the unit. Check for gas /water leaks

· Provide Customer literature

· Remove packaging from the premises

IMPORTANT: Gas hook up may be an additional charge insome areas where codes/ordinances require licensed professional installation.Our delivery crew will not be able to hook up your appliance if you live inthese locations. See a list of locations. You can arrange for aSears licensed installer to do this work by selecting the Installation optionduring checkout, or by calling 1-800-326-8738.


Cooking Ranges (Electric)

Customer preparation prior to delivery…

· Determine and prepare an accessible location

· Verify needed utilities:

§ 240 V grounded 50 AMP electrical service /outlet within 3 ft. of range location

§ Purchase a new 240 V electric cord

§ Delivery Team will connect to either type ofelectrical outlet pictured below

· Level the range. Set grates & burners inplace

· Install a Range - Anti-tip device furnishedwith the range according to the manufacturer specifications by drilling intothe Customer’s floor or wall for all free-standing or slide-in ranges deliveredand hooked-up by the Delivery Team

· Test the range – burners and oven

· Remove packaging from the premises

If your current range iswired directly into a wall (meaning there is no plug to disconnect), the rangemust be disconnected prior to delivery of your new range. Should you needassistance in either disconnecting your old range or connecting your new range,Sears Online always recommends that our customers contact a local certifiedtechnician to do the work prior to delivery.

IMPORTANT: Certain manufacturers require the installationof an anti-tip device to ensure product stability. If the manufacturerindicates the product being delivered requires an anti-tip device and theCustomer approves the installation, then the Delivery Team will follow themanufacturer’s instructions and install the anti-tip device furnished by themanufacturer. This service will be performed on products removed from themanufacturer’s packaging and placed at their final location. Secureinstallation of an anti-tip device requires drilling into the floor or wall ofthe Customer’s delivery location.


Cooking Ranges (Gas)

Customer preparation prior to delivery…

· Determine and prepare an accessible location

· Verify needed utilities:

§ 3 prong grounded electrical outlet

§ Gas supply line with above floor shut-offvalve in close proximity of the range location

§ Purchase a new stainless steel gas connector

§ Local code may require a plumber or gastechnician connect the gas range.

§ Delivery Team will connect to natural gasonly – no LP connections

§ 

Delivery Service will…

· Remove range from carton. Provide Customerliterature.

· Remove tape and packing material

· Place range in location

· Connect the range to the conforming naturalgas supply following local code using a new stainless steel flexible gasconnector in the original packaging and not visibly damaged

· Install a Range - Anti-tip device furnishedwith the range according to the manufacturer specifications by drilling intothe Customer’s floor or wall for all free-standing or slide-in ranges deliveredand hooked-up by the Delivery Team

· Level the range. Set grates & burners inplace.

· Test the range; burners and oven. Check forgas leaks at the range connection.

· Remove packaging from the premises

IMPORTANT: Certain manufacturers require the installationof an anti-tip device to ensure product stability. If the manufacturerindicates the product being delivered requires an anti-tip device and theCustomer approves the installation, then the Delivery Team will follow themanufacturer’s instructions and install the anti-tip device furnished by the manufacturer.This service will be performed on products removed from the manufacturer’spackaging and placed at their final location. Secure installation of ananti-tip device requires drilling into the floor or wall of the Customer’sdelivery location.

Laundry Dryers (Electric)

Customer preparation prior to delivery…

· Determine and prepare an accessible location

· Verify needed utilities:

§ 240 V grounded 30 AMP electrical service/outlet within 3 ft. of dryer location

· Verify the dryer venting within the home isclean, clear and vents outside to allow proper operation of the new dryer

· For convenience & safety, purchase adryer connection kit which includes a flexible metal vent tube, metal elbow and240V electrical cord (A new 240V electrical cord isrequired by the manufacturer)

· Laundry pedestals previously owned by aCustomer can be attached to a new washer / dryer only if the pedestal is listedfor use with the new item by the Manufacturer

· Buy Manufacturer’s stack kit if stacking thedryer on washer

Delivery Service will…

· Place dryer in location and reverse dryerdoor, if requested

· Check 240 V. electrical outlet. Connect thedryer to the conforming electrical service following local code using a new 240V. in the original packaging and not visibly damaged

· Attach venting using new component orexisting rigid or flexible metal venting that is clean and not visibly damaged

· Provide the Customer with any unused ventingkit parts from teh connection kit. (Unused venting parts can notbe refunded or re-sold.)

· Stack laundry when requested using theManufacturer’s kit

· Remove tape, protective film covering andpacking material

· Level the dryer (If coin operated , set coindenominations, chute, CAM & money box)

· Short cycle test the electric dryer

· Remove packaging from the premises

§ 3 prong grounded electrical outlet for gasdryers – Gas supply line with above floor shut-off valve in close proximity todryer location

§ Local code may require a plumber or gastechnician connect the gas dryer.

§ Delivery Team will connect to natural gasonly – no LP connections

· Verify the dryer venting within the home isclean, clear and vents outside to allow proper operation of the new dryer

· For convenience & safety, purchase adryer connection kit which includes a flexible metal vent tube, metal elbow andstainless steel flexible gas connector (A new gas connector isrequired by the manufacturer)

· Verify needed utilities:

§ Hot & Cold water supply with accessibleshut-off in close proximity to washer location

· Water valves need to be corrosion-free. Usedhoses cannot be reused due to leak risk.

· Drain the washer water prior to delivery.

· Standpipes must be at least 34 inches tall.

· Laundry pedestals previously owned by aCustomer can be attached to a new washer / dryer only if the pedestal is listedfor use with the new item by the Manufacturer

· Buy Manufacturer’s stack kit if stacking thedryer on washer

Delivery Service will…

· Remove washer from carton. Attach washerlegs.

· Remove tape, packing material and shippingrestraints. Provide Customer literature. Place washer in location.

· Connect washer to the conforming hot &cold water supply using only the manufacturer or Sears Delivery supplied waterlines

· Stack laundry when requested using theManufacturer’s kit

· Level the washer (If coin operated, set coindenominations, chute, CAM & money box)

· Ground washer to a metal pipe or groundedreceptacle.

· Connect drain hose.

· Short cycle test the washer - check for waterleaks at the washer connections

· Remove packaging from the premises


Refrigerators and Freezers

Customer preparation prior to delivery…

· Determine and prepare an accessible location

· Verify needed utilities:

§ 3 prong grounded electrical outlet

§ Ice-maker / water dispenser models require awater supply line and water shut-off on the same floor level in close proximity

§ Purchase a 5 foot water connector line ifneeded

Recommended; purchase a 5foot water line to connect the home water supply to the refrigerator. The 5foot connector line allows movement of the refrigerator from the wall andreduces the risk of deterioration in existing lines.

· If you currently own a built-in refrigerator,it needs to be de-installed prior to delivery of the new refrigerator / freezer

· Location is clear, cleaned if needed and hasadequate space

· Empty the refrigerator / freezer that will beremoved

Delivery Service will…

· Remove item from carton

· Remove and re-attach handles and doors tocomplete delivery, if needed

· Place product in location – provide Customerliterature

· Reverse merchandise doors, if requested

· Check water flow. Re-connect to existingwater line, provided that water line meets manufacturer and local buildingrequirements and check for leaks.

§ Note: Icemaker and water dispenserconnections may require connectors and additional tubing

· Remove tape and packing material

· Place racks, crispers, ice trays, and doorhandles in factory recommended positions

· Plug unit in and set to a mid-range coldsetting

· Level the refrigerator or freezer

· Remove packaging from the premises

IMPORTANT: Certain manufacturers require the installationof an anti-tip device to ensure product stability. If the manufacturerindicates the product being delivered requires an anti-tip device and theCustomer approves the installation, then the Delivery Team will follow themanufacturer’s instructions and install the anti-tip device furnished by themanufacturer. This service will be performed on products removed from themanufacturer’s packaging and placed at their final location. Secureinstallation of an anti-tip device requires drilling into the floor or wall ofthe Customer’s delivery location.


Furniture Specific Delivery Information

The following delivery information and services apply toSears Home Delivered items only. Look for the “Delivery” option when addingyour product to the Shopping Cart or when reviewing your product in theShopping Cart to determine whether this applies to the product you arepurchasing. These services do not apply to Freight Carrier delivered products.
