What happens to my points if I make a return?

Any points you have earned on a purchase from a Shop Your Way program will be deducted from your account if you return the merchandise from your purchase. 

Some Rewards Partners may not allow returns. You should check each individual Rewards Partner’s return policy carefully prior to making a purchase.

I made a return, should I get my FREECASH in points back?

If you return a purchase you made with FREECASH in points, you will only receive the amount back which you actually redeemed from your Shop Your Way account, not the redemption amount as well as the FREECASH in points.

FREECASH in points are similar to "money off coupons." If you return something which you purchased with a $1 off coupon, as an example, you will not receive the $1 back in your refund amount.

If your FREECASH in point offer is still valid, the offer may be used again. As an example, if you redeemed 1,000 of your Points, which triggered a $5 FREECASH in point offer, $6 would be taken off your original purchase price. When you return that item, you will only receive the 1,000 Points you redeemed as your refund.

I wrote a review on or When will I see the new Points on my Shop Your Way account?

Your Points will be applied to your account within 30 days of you reaching one of the VIP levels (Silver, Gold, or Platinum).

I'm a member of Craftsman Club , but not MySears or MyKmart. Can I earn Points for writing reviews or earning recognition badges?

How do I start earning Shop Your Way Points? Do I have to activate my account?

Sears cardholders with Citibank-issued cards can earn Points from Shop Your Way once the Shop Your Way Membership is activated

You must activate the Membership to earn and redeem Points and become a Bonus Member.

Do I earn Points on layaways?

Yes, just make sure you provide your Shop Your Way information during the initial layaway contract.  

Any earned Points (Base or Bonus) will appear after the completion of the final layaway payment.

I have multiple Shop Your Way Memberships – how can I merge my accounts?

How can I add points from a previous purchase?

You can retrieve missing Points from the home page by clicking on on your name at the top right corner of the page, then on “Account & Order History.” Below your past activity you will see a link for the Retrieve Missing Points form.

Missing Points can also be added with the help of a Customer Service Representative. For assistance, please contact the Member Care Center at, or by phone at 1-800-991-87081-800-991-8708.

If you recently purchased something and didn't get points for it, you have up to 30 days from the date of your purchase to request the missing Points.

Can I apply rewards points to my layaway?

Points cannot be redeemed on layaway purchases; however, they can be earned on layaway purchases after the final payment.

I lost my card; how do I get a replacement card?

You don’t need a Shop Your Way card to enjoy the full benefits of Membership.

Earn rewards in store by providing your phone number or e-mail address to the sales associate. If you prefer the convenience of a card, you can print one by clicking on your user name and then on “Edit Settings” on the drop down menu. From there, click on “Rewards” in the left menu and click on “Print your membership card.”

Smartphone users can also download the Shop Your Way app from the AppStore or Google Play Store.

How can I edit my profile information?

At Home

  • You may change your personal information such as your Name,Email address, Phone number ,Home address,etc. by clicking on your name (or profile picture on the top right) and then click on “My Profile”.

  • In order to change you email address select your name (or profile picture) located on the top right of the page and click on “My Profile”. Choose "Settings" --> "Account" and you will have the option to edit your email address.

In Store

  • You can edit your profile at any register; just make sure you know your PIN!

Over the Phone

  • To edit account information, call the Member Care Center at  1.800.991.8708.
