I got this vacuum maybe two months ago and I waited to do a review until I knew it would hold up to my house. We have three kids, three dogs and two cats. As you can imagine the house can get dirty quick. From pet hair to kids messes I need something that will handle that all. Thankfully for this vacuum my life has been a tad easier. Instead of other vacuums I’ve had in the past, this one I only need to make one pass and it’s clean. The suction on it is great! I need to just say how much I love the rewind on this vacuum. I’m always running around to the next mess, so I must confess, I never roll up the cord! I always jus loop it around the handle six or seven times because I really don’t have the time to take the knots out before winding it on the vacuum. I’ve noticed too that my cord gets all twisted and tangled and then I end up walking too far and it pulls the plug out of the wall. That’s a pain. Luckily I don’t have to deal wth that anymore! I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised by this vacuum. My mom is in the market for a new one and I’m definitely going to recommend she buys this!! We bought this machine about 2 months ago and for a few weeks it was fine. Now it will not pick up anything and I have unclogged it and am sure there are no blockages plus the little green indicator never has changed to red to indicate that there was a clog..Since this is my second failure with a Hoover product (other one was a carpet shampooer) I will never purchase another Hoover product..The place I was sent for warranty service on the shampooer returned it with missing parts that were never replaced so it was useless.. Please consider all of your options before you purchase a Hoover produce...
My Parents have had this same vacuum for about a year. It's been perfect for them, zero complaints and it just keeps working (they clean the filter periodically of course). I on the other hand have been using a Dirt Devil Edura Max for a little over a year. In that time the vacuum performed as expected for a cheap unit. Its suction was good enough, it's ability to pickup dirt was good enough and overall it was a decent vacuum. However the old saying you get what you pay for started to kick in. While the filters and everything else had held up fine, the brushroll had worn down to the point of looking like and old tooth brush. I'd have to go over the same areas again and again to pick up stuff on my carpet. I could've just replaced the brushroll but instead I opted to purchase something better. Seeing how good my Parents Hoover Wind Tunnel 2 had been performing I chose to simply purchase the same vacuum they did. Sofar it's been a much better experience. The Hoover is heavier for sure, but it's actually easier to move around, the suction power is like night and day better, it picks up everything in one pass (I don't have pets so my carpets don't get very dirty) the cleaning attachments are useful to! All of them are separate instead of being made into one cheap accessory that hardly functions which is what Dirt Devil does. Hoover instead supplies very nice and very functional attachments. Overall the experience I'm having with this Hoover is much more positive then what I had with the Dirt Devil!
Yes I am enjoying it so much and the price was really low thank you
Works great. Love the attachments. Especially the ceiling fan attachment. Pick up great. Cord has plenty length. Easy to push/pull. Not to heavy.
