ok i have always love hoover my is 8 years old and it still works good and looks news but my friend bought this hoover one and i love it but i cant afford it right know but really want this vacrum hoover is the best i recommand this light weight vacrum too anyone who loves too vacrum
I was looking for a vaccum that would do a good job cleaning up after my dogs (dog hair can be a bear to get out of carpet), and be lighter than the last vacuum I had which was a struggle to lug up flights of stairs. I got this, and was immediately impressed with it's ability to suck up dirt and hair from any surface - far better than the last vacuum I had which had been more expensive - plus it is easy to cart upstairs with little effort. But that's pretty much where my praise stops. I do not particularly like the way the attachments were designed and set up, especially the crevice tool, which is the one I use the most. It is FAR too short, and too fat, so I am unable to get into places I used to be able to. Additionally, it is designed with some weird cut-out feature at the nozzle end, for no reason I can discern except for maybe aesthetics? The result is that is reduces the effectiveness of the suction created, which was leaving dirt and hair behind. My workaround was to duct tape around the end of the tool to cover up the pretty little cut-out lines. I do like the fact that you have the option of pulling out the attachment handle in two different lengths, based on which button you push, but the manner in which the handle is designed provides for somewhat awkward handling. I think it was meant to be ergonomic in nature, but practical application is lost in the translation and makes it difficult to control what you are doing. Another problem is that the vacuum is SO light, that you can't move more than 2 feet away from the vaccum when using the attachment handle and hose without the vacuum falling over. While the hose does have a lot of stretch to it, and you should be able to move well away from the vaccum (like when you are doing stairs), the reality of the matter is the vacuum is far too light to handle the hose being stretched out at all without causing the whole vacuum to topple over, resulting in me having to hold the vacuum with one hand, while vacuuming the stairs with my other hand, which I shouldn't have to be doing. My last issue is with the dirt collection canister. It is very small, which just means you have to empty it constantly (like after every room you vacuum, depending on how fast pet hair collects in your house, and how often you vacuum), but the design of it is odd, causing pet hair and debris to become packed in around the upper half portion of the container, between the plastic outerwall, and the interior "guts". There is only about 3/8" space between those, for half of the container, and no amount of banging on the container is going to get the debris out. The only way I can remove it, is to use a long barbecue fork, which requires standing over the trash with the container under my arm, and fishing away with the fork, getting out small clumps at a time, and breathing in all that lovely dirt and dust I just vacuumed up off the floor. NOT ideal.
I just used this vacuum cleaner for the first time and it was amazing. It's so light and easy to maneuver that I actually had fun using it compared to my old heavy upright. And the suction was great too. I highly recommend this machine.
I am a happy Hoover customer and would recommend Hoover products to anyone looking for a great product that does what it is designed to do.
I'm going on 2 years of owning this bad boy! And it's been nothing short of amazing! I thoroughly clean it once a month to keep her in tip top shape. Very happy with this product and the power! Will continue to tell friends and relatives! Thank you Mr. Hoover!
Bought this product today and I’m completely satisfied. I love it.
We've had our Hoover for about four years now. It's stored in the back of a cupboard so it's regularly lifted by the handle and moved around. The suction is great and the motor isn't overwhelmingly loud. The brush head gets matted with fur and hair but it's easy to remove the screws and brush head and clean it off. Make sure you regularily rinse and dry the hepa filter or you'll lose some suction. The only thing I hate is the cheap accessory tool; it's cheap plastic and keeps falling off of its mount on the vacuum and the adjustable head on it won't stay in position. Otherwise, it's the best vacuum we've ever had.
