The vac is great, has wonderful power, picks up the most miniscule articles. I do have one problem that I hope someone can address. The cord stays hot long after use. Is this usual.
I've had this vacuum for 3 months and it's lost suction almost completely. I've taken the bottom of it off to check the brush roller, to check the belt, which I have replaced. I've removed the hose made sure it's not clogged. I have cleaned washable filters, clean the dirt cup and everything on it that can be cleaned. I'm at my wits end with this vacuum! I've never been so disappointed in a Hoover product. I'm open to any help because I've tried all that I can think of.
My order was cancelled without notice because they damaged it before it made it out of the warehouse. Then my reward points were tied up for 2 weeks while I waited for them to be credited back to my account. Mean while I have watched the product go out of stock and twice. Does anyone really wonder why Sears is struggling to stay in business?
Sears damaged it in the warehouse and cancelled my order instead of fulfilling it with good product. Now I have to wait up to 2 weeks for the points to become available from the refund and hope the product doesn't go out of stock. Would you treat your customers this way?
I have mostly used this brand. The price, performance and appearance of the vaccuum is my main concern.
