I needed an inexpensive, old school, oil drain pan. Nothing fancy, just works. The plastic is heavy grade, and holds about 6 quarts. Nice and wide. I even used it to change my transmission fluid, and it covers most of the wide area for a transmission. Pours fairly easy, enough to transfer spent oil to another container.
I've had many oil pans like this over the years. Some last for decades. This one has begun cracking after only a year or so. The price is low, and it sure works great at first. But something about the plastic will lead to cracking before too long.
This is a fine oil pan that does it's job. It's a plastic one, not metal. I bought it just for my lawnmower, but should be able to fit a normal car oil change too. The width is fine for me but can't say about car oil change. For such a low price, totally worth it.
Just what I needed. Not too expensive and did the job. DIY
