First Time Husqie Buyer and I'm Very Happy So Far

Right out of the box this mower started up immediately, and has started with one pull every single time for eight months of weekly mowing since. Some reviewers complain of sputtering and dying right away, and unfortunately they may have gotten a bad one, but Husqvarna stands behind their product as well as the stores who sell them, so I'm not exactly sure what the problem is. And for those people wanting to mow river banks or acres of farmland, well they should probably invest in a little more heavy duty mower. But for a couple hundred bucks this model will knock out your usual suburban weekly lawn work no problem, and I'm pretty happy with this unit so far. If things change I'll jump back on here later and update, but I'd say this is a solid purchase. I've also bought a Husqie gas powered blower since, and am thinking of stepping up to their gas powered weed whacker.

when running it is strong and easy to use but the carb on the unit will constantly need to be cleaned . I use premium gas in it and only use 10% or under ethanol and it still needs the carb cleaned every 2 weeks . So I tried using fuel stabilizer like the manufacturer suggested and still have the same problem. after taking it to a certified repair center the mechanic said it was just a poor designed carb built from cheap material that canto stand up to normal gas and it causes the choke to stick open after sitting.

Perfect reliable mower!

I've had this mower for about 3 years and it has been outstanding. Highly recommend this great product! Extremely reliable and gets the job done!

great mower for the money

I replace my almost 20 year old mower with this one, wow what a difference. First of all it's so easy too push and it cuts great. I wish the cutting height adjustments were a little more fine tuned if you will. The height that I cut at is just a little taller than I'd like, maybe if it was possible too make a adjustment halfway between that and the next lower one would be nice but I'll settle for it. Starts easy, looks great as well

Did not last.

This mower was great for ten minutes, followed by countless problems, eventually resulting in being fully nonfunctional, waste of money.

Not as advertised

After 10 uses, good not get the unit started. Changed the spark plug, and fresh super gas, but still no luck. 2 pulls to start, not quite. Dissapointing.

Be smart, and it’ll impress!

This thing is great at it’s job! Truly impressed by the no prime/choke Briggs that starts cold on first pull even without pulling hard; very strong too. I drilled and added a deck washing nozzle kit and hour meter to keep it healthy. Stars lost simply because the bag is a little small and the height adjusters very cheap. Feeling like the bad reviews are from people who should really just own electrics....gas engines need some care:

- Ignore the “just check and add” oil marketing gimmick....change the oil after 5 hours of run time, then every 50hrs or annually thereafter (whichever comes first)
- New air filter/spark plug every 50hrs/annually as well
- Let the engine warm for a minute of running before bogging it down by cutting
- Stabilizer for your fuel to prevent sludge
- Ethanol treatment for your fuel to prevent carburetor rust
- Clean the deck underside every few mowing sessions

Do the above and this sucker will last as long as you! Cheers-
