I came to the website today to look for a schematic so I could do a tune-up and then saw all of these terrible reviews and felt like I needed to put a good one on because I've had nothing but a great experience with mine for many years. It's lightweight and heavy duty enough to handle my 1/2 acre yard of never ending work. I run mine on the premixed fuels because it's just easier.
Christmas present from my wife. 1st use was ~MAR2018. By 18AUG2018 could start blower but would never reach max RPM. couldn't keep it running. eventually stalling. Used 2-cycle equipment of all manufacturers in construction/general contract capacity for years without these issues. Followed all HUSVQARNA's recommendations printed in their included 350BT manual for starting/running AND added min required STA-BIL fuel stablizer and Mechanic in a Bottle (Ethanol Shield) which conforms to Military Specifications (Mil-Spec) standards including All Metal Anticorrosive Package (Top Level ASTM & NACE Ratings) and Antioxidant Package for water removal (that EtOH introduces), prevents corrosion, varnish ("gumming") deposits while conditioning rubber and plastic both of which clearly state their safe use with all 2 and 4-cycle engines. As in 1st, "DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ANYWHERE" post, took blower to authorized Husqvarna dealer/maintenance facility and it was denied warranty work citing no control over fuel. Also contacted Husqvarna and their rep flat out accused me of attempting to doctor the fuel with additives none of which are specifically, expressly, or generally forbidden in their manual (English pg 14). Of course the "suggestion" was that I could buy their premixed fuel; which you can't find anywhere except through their Never had a company so staunchly and obstinately fail to stand behind their products like this. Shame. Because I have a Husqvarna 372XP chainsaw that I swear would run underwater and take any abuse I could bestow upon it.
I bought this for my wife. She's crazy about lawn care, construction, painting...yeah, I got lucky. Anyway, after pestering me for weeks, I got her the 350BT for Christmas. It's perfect for us. We have a lot of trees that drop their leaves. We use the blower to move the leaves off the driveway and foot traffic areas, then mulch everything with our Husky mower.
got it for christmas because we live in wisconsin havent had a chance to use on leaves yet, but did use to blow light snowfalls and sand they dropped on our road. started easy even when it was 15 degrees out, blew the heavy sand deposits well am very happy I have it, light and quiet
I purchased this leaf blower about two months ago, works great for my needs. Does get a little heavy when blowing leaves for an extended period of time.
Only worked for first year. In the shop twice... talked to factory twice. Same bs about fuel. Even though I don’t use it it supposedly accepts regular gas. I was even told that gas only lasts a week. Sometimes it works for twenty minutes before it shuts down. It always shuts of before thirty minutes. Just cuts off like it’s fuel starved. It is immaculate inside and out. Stihl for me next time.
Purchased this blower Sept. 2018 from a dealer, that services Husqvarna
equipment. Purchased Husqvarna premixed fuel, and warranty is extended by two years. Now as far as performance, the blower starts easily, (2nd pull)
and provides plenty of air flow to easily move leaves. The harness is nice fitting,
and the weight is very manageable (71 yrs. old) the blower is very comfortable,
and easy to operate. I absolutely love it, and can’t believe I hadn’t purchased one years ago.
