Owned 2 years now

This is a great pool for the money. We have the 16 ft. Not to small for an enjoyable swim and not to big to take down in the fall. Use chlorine tablets, algaecide, and change filters regularly and the water stays crystal clear. I have no troubles with this pool or pump at all. Love the easy pull up plugs to change filters. Lots better than the blue pools with the bubbles cause when it rains, and it rained a lot here in ME this summer I don't have to worry about too much water and the sides caving in and dumping half the water out like what happened when we had the less expensive one. Over all nice pool. Ladder could be better and not crazy about the vacuum set up that uses hose water to push debris into a net but, I'm working on buying attachments to hook into the intake. Floor attachment and a hose should work good with the handle they supply. Going to try something different. We have well water and using the hose water to clean the pool just makes the water cold. For the cost I'm happy they came out with a nice pool I can afford and use year after year. I do take mine down every fall. Thanks for reading.

Ripped after 2 weeks of use

We followed instructions and set up pool properly. It seems to be a heavy duty material but ripped after just 2 weeks of use. Obviously a manufacturere defect but since we bought through Sears and not Intel, the manufacturer won't replace it. I would not recommend this product.

Not a long term pool

We bought this pool in June of 2018 and for one year everything was fine after we upgraded the pump. The railing have all rusted now we took the pool down a week ago because it was not safe. If your happy to buy a new pool ever 18 month this is a good pool for you, again after updating the pump.

Poles rust out in 2 years

I have owned this pool for 2 years in Ohio. We set it up on Memorial day and take it down in September. We love the pool, but taking it down the 2nd year, practically all the poles were rusted through. Intex will not help. To buy replacement poles from Intex is $327, which is more than we paid for the pool in 2017.

I see that Intex now has the Ultra XTR, which has poles that are galvanized inside and out, so they know this is an issue with the Ultra.

Really good...then junk

We bought this pool in spring 2017 and only got two summers out of it. The legs began to rust within a few months of use. The rusted legs sliced the liner. I believe these pools are made so cheaply so people will have to keep buying them. There aren?t a lot of options unless you have thousands of dollars. I would be better off if I had stuck with the Easy Set inflatable pool!
