We had the pool for almost a year ordered the salt water pump and so far have no issues. We layed concrete down to prevent any vegetation or ground issues for support when the ground got wet. We don't take the pool down in between seasons so it stays up all year. It does take a little longer to set up we used baby powder to slip pipes between liner made it very easy. Also it took about 8 hrs to fill by water hose 3,000 gallons plus
We got this pool and then went to work on the back yard to remove sod and level the ground before setting it up. We put down a vapor barrier and then covered the ground with indoor outdoor carpet to give the bottom of the pool a thicker ground barrier. we filled the pool a few inches and smoothed out the wrinkles and then added about a foot of water and noticed water coming out from under the pool. I wonder if the ground cover supplied by Intex is designed to let the water leak into the ground so you don't see it. I will be calling Intex on Monday to see what to do. It took a very long time to level the ground and get the support under the sides. My rating may be higher depending on how Intex handles this issue. 90 minutes set up is a big fat lie.
Got it and set it up super easy with just me, but thinking there was an issue after we started filling. As we filled it, the pool seemed to bow in on sides but once filled it is perfect. This MUST BE LEVEL or it will not fill right. Best pool I've ever had. Next year will be upgrading to square 18x18.
It looks like it would be a good pool.... dont know waited for over 2 weeks and still got nothing but my order cancelled and then told oopppss sorry out of stock!!
They promised to give $75 back in points the "fine print" doesn't disclose exactly when each $25 will be credited. Furthermore I was promised a 5% credit back on my credit card and I've never received it. I wish I had known beforehand how deceptive Kmart has become!
Bought at the end of the year for next season. I'm still waiting for my cashback in points to be credited!
