I owned a Caldera spa before which I paid $7000 for at another home and this portable one should suit us just fine. I purchased the spa Sunday morning online because I could not turn down that discounted sale price since we have been looking. Received a text within 20 minutes of ordering saying the spa was ready for store pickup. I picked up from store within an hour, and I put it together by mid-afternoon, 2 hours for assembly. The DVD included helped a lot. It was easy to assemble. It takes about 30 minutes to fill. The kids couldn't wait to get in it that evening so we got in at 82 degrees which actually was not too bad. That may work for hot summer Florida days. Woke up this morning to 98 degree water. We will probably keep it set to 98 when not in use. The heater could probably use a little more power but for the price I didn't expect a Hot Springs-like heating system. The spa works great so far but am not looking forward to future electric bills. Hopefully it won't be too bad; maybe another $40 per month to run. I have it plugged in to a dedicated outdoor 110V 25 Amp circuit with heavy gauge 12 ft extension cord. The pump pulls about 13Amps max when heating (as I have read elsewhere), so I think I am good on that circuit. Overall, we are very pleased with the purchase.
Absolutely loved it for the short time it's worked. After a couple months error code e90 starts meaning no water flow. So of course i do all the trouble shooting wich includes draining and refilling again. Still nothing. Still on warranty so they ship me another control base. 2 months later.. same exact thing. Keep in mind I keep my spa indoors and as clean as possible. I drain and clean entire thing. Troubleshoot ...refill and nothing! I'm still on warranty but now I'm told i have to pay to ship the 35lb box to California before I get a replacement! Happy 40th bday to me! No hot tub and if I want it to work again I have to pay over $100 to ship it. With hopes that it will last longer than 2 months. So I spent $450. for a giant plastic tub that I can't use. Thanks INTEX!
I bought this hot tub with very little expectation 2 years ago. We use it all the time! Well, my mom loved it so much, I bought one for her and my dad. They enjoyed it for a year but decided they can no longer (at 80 and 81) get in and out safely. So they gave it back to me, and I gave it to my brother. We all LOVE it! No problems except we had to purchase new tubes because we use it year round. After a year in Florida and constant heat, things dry rot. Easy fix with a quick trip to ****** and we were back in that night!
My husband and I enjoy our hot tub ,and would recommend it to our friends or family .we tell everyone how much they would love this hot tub
That was a great idea. I loved it. It works well for small place.
After one year this spas continues to leak air and constantly needs reinflated
This is the greatest purchase for a starter hot tub
