I bought one after sleeping on one at my son's home during a recent visit. The bed is easy to inflate and make and comfortable to sleep on. When two people share it, the bed needs to be re-inflated a bit on a daily basis as it seems to lose some of its firmness from the weight of two adults. It is very comfortable and a great solution for the occasional guest but certainly not a permanent bed for anyone. Deflating it can be a challenge to get all the air out; if any air is left in the bed, getting it into the storage bag will be nearly impossible.
This bed always needed air. The instructions say will need to fill due to stretching for a short time. WRONG this bed needed air the whole time. Went away on Thanksgiving for a day and came back to find it flat. Out of warranty and a complete waste of money.
The box was sealed, appeared to be new and never opened. Christmas Eve night we ended up on the floor after we fell asleep! Was purchased for our trip to visit our grand children for Christmas. WOW what a surprise we had Christmas morning just after midnight on the hard cold floor!
We bought this because my timeshare condo is a one bedroom and I did not want my Mom to sleep on the couch or the pullout sleeper bed. I let my Mom have the bedroom and used the air mattress myself for the first 4 nights. I could not be happier with the air mattress. Setup was easy. I used a mattress pad and two fitted sheets below me because I could feel the ripples in the mattress top (call me a princess). It was firm and comfortable. I did not mind at all asking my Mom to change places when my fiance came and joined us the last 3 nights. My Mom was happy with the comfort too.
