I’m extremely happy with this table. It requires very little assembly; you can be up and running in under 10 minutes, assuming you have someone to help lift the incredibly heavy panels. The casters are high quality as well as everything else. With a table top over 1 inch thick and a heavy duty metal skirt, this table will survive a nuclear apocalypse. The two panels nest tightly making storage a snap. You really can’t do any better at this price point – get them while they last!
I think the price is right for the grade of table, but when you find out it can't be shipped to you house by sears, then the cost and headache of having it shipped to the store so you can arrange to get it home makes it not as worth it. This is a 300lb. item and I worked for hours trying to get it shipped to my house as the item said it could be for $69. Even the online agent couldn't get it to work. After picking this up myself and brining it home, the table top had a big scratch on one of the sides. Oh no, now I have to arrange to get this back to the store. They offered to pick it up for return, but that leaves me with no table and the loss of expense for brining it home myself. I opted to live with the damage with a 5% credit back. You can find these damaged table on Sear's reduced price listings. They are stores who have these damage table, but for almost $150 off. More than the 5% they gave me, but after days of trying to get this table, I was done. The table is strong and level, but I only found it through Sears, so the trouble and extra cost wasn't worth it.
Love this ping pong table. Quick and easy setup. There was delay in shipment but thanks for followup.
The Joola World Cup DX30 was exactly the item I wanted for the a very good price, however, this is where my satisfaction ended. Upon ordering this item on 12/5/19, I was excited to have it delivered prior to the holidays (12/23 was the delivery date that Sears indicated), but on 12/17, I received an e-mail stating that the order was canceled because of unavailability of the item. Hey, even though Sears readily accepted my payment of $427.99 immediately at the time of purchase, I was informed that it would be 5-7 days before I would receive a credit for my canceled order. The most bizarre thing is that even after 2 weeks, this item is still listed on the Sears website.
Not sure why Sears is not getting merchandise from this vendor, but the whole process is frustrating and disappointing. I'm writing this review because I don't want to subject the CSR on the phone to my frustration. Perhaps decision makers at Sears will read the reviews and take some of the criticisms to heart. The Sears that I grew up with has failed of late as a brick and mortar retailer, but it appears that this American institution is doomed as an on-line retailer, as well. Sad.
Nothing like getting a giant ping pong table out and putting it together to find that you are missing 8 bolt plates, and there is no way to find the parts on the internet. Joola doesn't even have an e-mail to send and call in number has difficult hours.
