Plenty of Storage CapacityThis Kenmore chest freezer has 5.1 cu. ft. of interior storage space, perfect for loading in bulk frozen foods, bags of fruit, sweet treats, bulk meat and more. No need to overload the kitchen freezer just to cut down on grocery store trips.
Grab What You NeedStack up pre-made meals, like casseroles and lasagnas, right next to bags of frozen bulk foods. A removable storage basket makes it easy to reach in and grab non-stackable items or foods that you and the family use more often.
Easy Temp ControlA small exterior temperature control knob lets you optimize the interior freezer temperature with a simple twist. The defrost drain makes it easy to get water out of the freezer so you won’t have to strain to reach the bottom of the freezer.
Perfect for the FamilyPut this freezer in the garage, basement or even a pantry. Stash fresh meat from hunting season,...
Best freezer!! More space than you would think it has for a little freezer!!. Gets really cold fast!! Basket in top very convenient. Very quiet!!
Green light on front flashes, won't even get cold, lost about 475.00 in beef, do to quit working, worked about 4 months, can it even be repaired! I have been told that it is shot, can't be worked on and would cost more than it's worth if it could be. Basically, it's junk I guess, no more Kenmore products for me and no more purchases at Sears, and I wouldn't recommend either to anyone!!
Works great for a reasonable price.
So far I really like this freezer. It's just the right size for the space i had to put it in. It's a little more than i wanted to spend, but it was a must at the time.
I bought this freezer to store meat and seafood that I would purchase during good sales. The freezer was purchased in 3/2015 and died 8/2017. It lasted only 2 years and 5 months. I thought the purchase of a freezer would save our family money so I can stock up during sales. However, this particular freezer cost me more money in the long run - cost of freezer + all the spoiled food when the freezer suddenly stopped working. I called Kenmore to see if anything can be done but since the warranty has passed, the only option is to send a technician out for $89 for the visit plus the cost of the repair (not worth it). We will be looking for another freezer soon but will NOT buy a Kenmore.
I had been eyeing a small deep freeze for well over a year now and Sears had a sale I couldn't refuse! I didn't need a lot of space; was just more concerned with freezing large items like ham or turkey - but I am pleasantly surprised at how much space this small unit has and how much I've utilized it already.
It does have some ice built up on it already; however, it is located in my garage and the temp out there gets pretty hot in Oklahoma summers...so maybe opening and closing in such a hot environment causes the ice? It isn't so bad that I've had to defrost yet.
Highly recommend this unit for someone needing a little extra space.
the freezer fits the small space in my basement. but it holds a lots of food. It is quiet. It is one of my good buy from Sears. I'll definitely recommend to buy it with this reasonable price.
This unit died a little over 2 years after normal usage. This is extremely disappointing, as there is only a 1 year warranty.
like the product because of replacing and older one but I was thinking I would have gotten the discount of the sale price instead of the regular price which would have made the deal a sweeter deal for me but I happy with the freezer itself.
The freezer, which was located in my garage, unexpectedly quit working and I lost 100 lbs of fish filets and a whole turkey. Extremely disappointed and would never recommend this freezer to anyone.
