Worked for 2 weeks...

It worked fine for two weeks then wouldn't freeze anymore. There was a hole and all the refrigerant leaked out. My food sat at various sub-optimal temperatures for about a week before I discovered it. The new freezer works fine, but I spent a lot of time dealing with the problem. Now when defrost some fruit for a morning smoothie, I get diarrhea about 1/2 the time. There was no compensation from Sears for any lost food.

Great product but terrible at delivery.

|

The freezer is fine but the delivery was terrible.
First he said he couldn't cross the bridge coming into our small town because his truck was too heavy. The bridge is labeled 15 Tons and the rental truck he was using was labeled right on the door GVW 26400. When asked, the driver did not know how many pounds were in a Ton.
Then when they set the freezer they tweeked the door and it would not shut properly.
When I called to get a service technician out to fix the door they said is would be three weeks.
The good part of this story is that when I called the local Sears store they had a technician come out in a couple of days. Thank you Poncha Springs, CO.
