The Kenmore dishwasher was the best replacement I found for the price. It is amazingly quiet. The water gets extremely hot and the dishes come out the cleanest I have ever seen. It didn't take too long to install either.
One of the main reasons I bought model 12339 was for the nylon racks specified in the description. However, I checked the racks with a magnet upon receipt and found that they are the standard coated wire racks that rust though in a short amount of time. I am very disappointed.
It was actually a headache and I refuse to ever shop and spend my money at Sears again! I was contacted by Sears and told my dishwasher was ready to be picked up. I had to hire a handyman to use his truck and pick up the washer and install for me. Once my handyman made it to Sears they handed him a hose for installation and nothing else because the dishwasher had not been delivered to Sears yet. My handyman charged me $50 for making the trip there and then i had to pay an additional $50 for him to make another trip there several days later to pick up the dishwasher. I contacted Sears several times about this situation and they said they were going to request a $50 refund for the money I had to spend because of you Sears contacting me and saying the dishwasher was there when it was not. I never heard back or got my refund. The lack of care I was handled with left a very negative memory for me and this is why I will never spend my money with your company again. My entire home has Kenmore appliances but I will be changing brands now because of this.
Ordered the item a month ago and the scheduled pick up day came and went. I called customer service and was told that its on the truck for delivery and should expect the "ready for pick up" email by the end of the day. Nothing. I cant simply click to cancel the order anywhere and expect getting a refund wont be cut and dry.
I can't believe I was stupid enough to come back to Sears in attempt to purchase another appliance. This is the second time I purchased an appliance (they charged my credit card immediately, on both occasions of course) when they did not actually have the product. The first time - a year ago - they repeatedly delayed shipment for several weeks at a time, stretching out the promised delivery for months, assuring me it would be delivered at the next delivery date. It took so long, we finally cancelled the order. Now they are doing the exact same thing with this appliance. I received a text two days prior to delivery that the delivery date was still in tact. However, the morning of delivery, I received a text thanking me for changing the delivery date, which I did not do. Sears explained they had not received the product from the supplier. They had to know they did not have the product or that it was not on its way prior to morning of the delivery date. I called them and they guaranteed another delivery date and said they would refund 10% of the purchase price for the inconvenience. The failed on both counts. They delayed delivery again, stating they had not received the product from the supplier, and they never refunded the 10% (Sears revealed that the operator who offered the 10% had no authority or ability to provide the 10% refund). Had they told me ahead of time it was going to be three months before I got the appliance, that would've been somewhat palatable; at the very least it would have been honest. Sears' business model is atrocious and has broken a long standing trust. After 20 years of purchasing numerous appliances from Sears, I'm done doing business with them.
This is crazy. I ordered the dishwasher several weeks ago and was told it would arrive at the store in 3 days. Now several weeks later I still have not received notification the dishwasher is available for pickup. I have contacted customer service multiple times and tried calling the store. No one seems to know where the order stands or how to resolve the issue. No wonder Sears will be out of business in the coming year(s). Please help.
I received this unit damaged, only I didn't know it was damaged until Sears' installer opened the box 1 week after delivery. Now Sears won't repair nor replace because box was opened past 72 hours of receipt. Beware Sears.com. Don't purchase here anything! And this coming from longtime Kenmore owner, as I own 3 other Kenmore items, but this is 1st time online
purchase. Again, beware Sears.com. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy!
