I'm pleased to see that in forgoing the stainless steel interior to save money, I still got a dishwasher that cleans well. It cleans the dishes well though the cycle is long (2 hours) and plastic items aren't dry. I am delighted to have sparkly glassware again.

BEWARE!! Less than two years later it's dead!!

Interesting that there are many reviews saying the same thing about this dishwasher! We purchased this brand new from Sears less than 2 years ago. It stopped working recently and we paid the Sears repairman to come out. He gave us a quote for over $550 to repair it!!! We only paid $400 for it to begin with. Now we are stuck with a beautiful but worthless hunk of metal. I just purchased a Whirlpool dishwasher to replace it with. I will not sink more money into buying this same Kenmore! Very disappointed.

Bad Choice, Bad Decision but finally made the right choice!

Bought this from Sears 2.5 year ago. Took the 2 yr warranty - had one service call and then we didn't renew the extended warranty in june 2017. Broke in Nov 2017 - paid 107$ to Sears service to be told it was scrapped (Top Sprinkler motor burnt). Sears gave us a coupon for buying another. Choose Bosch, since they are the best: Sears's price is the machine + 5 yrs warranty + tax, not delivered, not installed for $611$. Same machine at ******: The machine + 5 yr warranty+installation + new hoses + taking the old one and no tax since it's considered house improvement in NY State, total is $585 !!!! How can you be wrong? Shop before buying!!!!!

Doesn't last

Great machine for the first 18 months, and then the troubles began. Service personnel can't figure out why sometimes the dishwasher fills up properly, and other times it does not. We can't trust it, so I am washing everything by hand.

Broke after two years

The motor stopped working after two years and two months. This is a poor quality dishwasher, it never cleaned well; $400 does not get you much anymore. Thankfully, I read some reviews before contacting Sears for repair and decided just to buy a Bosch from ********. Amazing that repairs cost as much as the dishwasher. So disappointing, Sears. Nobody is going to miss you guys when you go out of business.

Worst Experience of My Life

Honestly dealing with Sears, their Customer Service Teams who are clearly not in America and repeat what you say over and over with a defunct delivery team who left my oven in my kitchen for a week after it should have been hauled away guaranteed for me my worst experience ever in my life and I'm 42 with multiple houses and I've made multiple purchases for items like these with no problems with reputable entities like Lowes, Home Depot, Amazon etc. When I told my boss at work I purchased these Items from Sears his exact words to me were you shouldn't have done that I had so many problems the last time I dealt with them and he was 100% correct.

Complete and utter junk

less than 6 months in use and the motor and/or board is dead. Two different repairmen both say it's not worth fixing. I thought all Sears had left to sell was appliances, now even those are a joke. "Satisfaction Guaranteed" is now a complete joke. I would call for warranty service, but I bought this during a sale and didn't install it in my new construction for over 8 months, so OUT OF WARRANTY too. If you're looking for a dishwasher that will **** out after 6 months and be too expensive to fix, you've found the model for you! Garbage. Just garbage.

Love this dishwasher!!!!

Love this dishwasher! The racks glide in/out smoothly and feel very sturdy. Cleans dishes well and is quiet. Very pleased! Sears installation process efficient and professional.
