I don't know what the reviews are about this dishwasher not drying well. It dries perfect. If you do a quick rinse with the hot dry option it will still be wet, but that's because its a rinse not actual washing or drying. I use the normal wash cycle with the hot dry option and it cleans and dries like a beauty. I really like that you can see how much rinse aid you have and need for each wash. The only downside is that it does leave fingerprints, but that's what comes with purchasing stainless steel. Another thing that I love about this dishwasher is that the buttons are on the inside and its stainless steel.
Interesting that there are many reviews saying the same thing about this dishwasher! We purchased this brand new from Sears less than 2 years ago. It stopped working recently and we paid the Sears repairman to come out. He gave us a quote for over $550 to repair it!!! We only paid $400 for it to begin with. Now we are stuck with a beautiful but worthless hunk of metal. I just purchased a Whirlpool dishwasher to replace it with. I will not sink more money into buying this same Kenmore! Very disappointed.
this dishwasher is quiet and cleans good
Never had a chance to install this dishwasher. Upon opening the box, several parts were cracked/broken. Very disappointing due to hassle of removing existing dishwasher and preparing to install new dishwasher. However, I'm glad I noticed broken parts because post-installing would have created a flood.
This has been happening for the last year and I thought it was something that I needed to do but I have never had this issue with any other dishwasher. I’ve tried everything to clean it but it just comes back. Of course the warranty ran out. I’m curious to see if others have the same issue with this dishwasher.
