Great dishwasher

Previously had another brand with stainless steel tub. Bought this one due to very sturdy door handle / latch design and well designed control panel. Very quiet plastic tub, walk two feet away and you cant even hear the trickle of water against door or the motor. 1 hour cycle combined with heated drying is what we use and it does a great job.

BEWARE!! Less than two years later it's dead!!

Interesting that there are many reviews saying the same thing about this dishwasher! We purchased this brand new from Sears less than 2 years ago. It stopped working recently and we paid the Sears repairman to come out. He gave us a quote for over $550 to repair it!!! We only paid $400 for it to begin with. Now we are stuck with a beautiful but worthless hunk of metal. I just purchased a Whirlpool dishwasher to replace it with. I will not sink more money into buying this same Kenmore! Very disappointed.

Worst purchase ever

|

Not even six months in and we are having a problem were the dishwasher has an E2F2 error and we have to completely replace the control board. This error is common. Sears took 10 days to come out and take a look at it, now I have to wait an additional 6 days for them to replace the part, and another ten days after that for the technician to come in and replace it. They will not replace the equipment unless they come out 4 times for the same issue, although this is literally a new product.

Additionally it is NOT stainless steel, as there is rust already forming even after we take really good care of our dishwasher.

Complete scam! I am so disappointed in Sears, Kenmore and the whole process.
