THis replaced my old dishwasher that quit. It appears to clean dishes well using only the 1 hour cycle and heated dry. For tougher stains - you have to use the longer cycles.
I used this machine less than 5 times and the dishwasher leaked all over my floor. The installation company broke my pipe upon installation on the first visit. They hit a pipe and cracked it with their wrench causing a crack and slow leak. Then the dishwasher leaked and when the installer came to change it out they said the timing/ motor mechanism breaks and they see it all the time. The installation company and delivery companies are different and they do not coordinate delivery on the same day. Awful experience all around. No one will call you back from customer service. Stay away from Sears.
Love how quiet this dishwasher is. It also disburses water to clean in an effective way that cleans really well.
This dishwasher worked fine from Jan 2018 till Nov 12 2018. The serviceman came out the following day and determined the motor and sump pump was bad, and the controller had to be replaced. The parts and labor would have cost $543 had it not been under warranty. Here is the kicker. The Sears serviceman said it would be about a month before he could replace the faulty parts. This was not acceptable due to our age (we are in our eighties), and all our children are coming to our home for Thanksgiving. We had no choice but to purchase another dishwasher from another appliance store.
Beside it being the best because it’s a Kenmore, it is literally inaudible when standing right next to it! I forgot it was on and accidentally opened it to put more dishes in it. In addition to it being the quietest dishwasher I can remember owning, it looks sleek, the controls are intuitive, the filters are easy to remove and clean, the racks seem overly sturdy and the stainless tub rocks!
Got the Dishwasher from Sears Nov - 2015. Drying has always been an issue even with heated drying being on. Now the wash motor broke and the local repair technician is quoting $450 for repairs. Also advised me to stay away from Kenmore.
Have had this since February and nothing but problems. Going on the third motor. Sear wont do anything to help me and wont replace it. Have to wait weeks at a time for new parts to come in before they will send someone out. Might as well have thrown the money I spent on this dishwasher in the garbage. Im going to end up having to buy a new one once the warranty is up and I will not be buying it from sears.
