Stainless Like Your Dishes

Very quiet and cleans well, we only had 2 issues. 1. Anchoring it to the side cabinets is very tough to secure. 2. Don't touch the front stainless steel easily smudges. if you just use the handle it's pretty much clean. Tip, do nit sit flush to cabinets you must keep it out about an inch due to the heat vent that's on the left side of the door or it will ruin the wood over time.
I used this machine less than 5 times and the dishwasher leaked all over my floor. The installation company broke my pipe upon installation on the first visit. They hit a pipe and cracked it with their wrench causing a crack and slow leak. Then the dishwasher leaked and when the installer came to change it out they said the timing/ motor mechanism breaks and they see it all the time. The installation company and delivery companies are different and they do not coordinate delivery on the same day. Awful experience all around. No one will call you back from customer service. Stay away from Sears.
very quiet and does a great cleaning job, the electric and water hookups are under designed and cheap, but they work fine....should rethink the design of these
Was looking to replace 20+ year old kenmore dishwasher, which was still working but racks were rusting. My criteria for new one was 1..not have to wash dishes first, 2..get them clean and 3..dishes dry. I researched for two years and didn’t like what I was reading in reviews, but as we all know, they don’t make appliances like they use to! Plus, I don’t feel like you have to pay a lot to get a good dishwasher. I had been looking at this one for awhile and bit the bullet when it went on sale for $449, and I found a coupon that gave more off, so only paid $429. The first month it worked great, clean dishes and dry when done. Then it started not getting dishes clean, so I pulled filter out and cleaned it and it was working great again. Acouple weeks later the same thing, so cleaned filter and working great again. The manual says to clean filter once a month, but I’m thinking once a week. With my old dishwasher I scraped food off but didn’t do any rinsing and dishes always came out clean, probably not the best thing for my drains. With this one I’ve had to break down and rinse dishes, just a quick rinse, because I figured that would give more time between cleaning filter. So what I’ve discovered that makes this a great dishwasher is to use the 1 hour wash! The only thing I can figure out on why this cycle works better than 3 hour cycle, is that it’s not flinging food around for 3 hrs! I’m pleasantly surprised with this dishwasher, but it’s only been 4 months, so time will tell.
Don't buy this: The first DW was installed and didn't work during installer's test run. Installer, a subcontractor for Sears, also said I needed to buy additional parts, directly from him, to install the first dishwasher.
Installer said that he had to remove my outlet cover "to level the 2nd machine." (This still baffles my GC.) He didn't even bother to level the 1st dishwasher.
Customer service is non-existent and reps. don't speak English well enough to help customers. The reps. I have contacted have repeatedlty lied to me.
One repair tech advised me to get a leak detector and place it under my new dishwasher. Just great....
Extremely disappointed in this product. The hour long wash cycle never cleaned the dishes. The regular cycle with heat dry took close to 4 hours to wash. Then it started leaking a week ago on our 2 year anniversary of purchasing it and we had it looked at professionally and found there was a crack in the water pump $250 to replace plus $100 for labor. Piece of junk! So disappointed with the workmanship of this product by kenmore. Plus the service fee from sears is outrageous $90 just to diagnose a problem, WHAT! Disappointed with sears and brand trust in kenmore is gone.
Make sure you read every last word on the article you buy. Even if you receive it damaged, obviously not your fault, the customer service department does not want to pay attention to you......
Called repair within 30 days of delivery, soap falls to base & dishes aren’t washed. I am told by customer service in the Philippines that I can’t have replaced. Now told today that motor which never worked is on back order. So now it looks like no dishwasher for Thanksgiving dinner. No return call from supervisors or corporate. No wonder Sears is closing stores they have terrible customer serve & I have purchased appliances from them since the 70’s & just had to buy all new appliances due to my house catching on fire. Customer service sucks!
Posting this review after 13 months of use. The dishwasher worked great all this time, but stopped working only a month after the warranty expired. This really sucks! Kenmore is not the brand and quality it used to be.
