Nice but a few things to remember

Very quiet and cleans well, we only had 2 issues. 1. Anchoring it to the side cabinets is very tough to secure. 2. Don't touch the front stainless steel easily smudges. if you just use the handle it's pretty much clean. Tip, do nit sit flush to cabinets you must keep it out about an inch due to the heat vent that's on the left side of the door or it will ruin the wood over time.

Broke in the first month and Leaked

I used this machine less than 5 times and the dishwasher leaked all over my floor. The installation company broke my pipe upon installation on the first visit. They hit a pipe and cracked it with their wrench causing a crack and slow leak. Then the dishwasher leaked and when the installer came to change it out they said the timing/ motor mechanism breaks and they see it all the time. The installation company and delivery companies are different and they do not coordinate delivery on the same day. Awful experience all around. No one will call you back from customer service. Stay away from Sears.

Would rather handwash....

Horrible, does not clean anything. Repairmen told me to prewash dishes , clean dishwasher, use vinegar, clean propellers with toothpick each time.Told me dishwashers are just for sanitizing. And dishes still not clean. Would rather handwash.

Don't buy

we have had this dishwasher 18 months and the pump went out. It gets used maybe twice a week so that is very few times we always just use the one-hour cycle. It cost $400 for the repair a brand new one is $540 pause. After the fact I've read several reviews the pump goes out this should be a recall Sears you need to keep your loyal customers I've had Sears Kenmore products since 1980 but not anymore. I'm going to ******* and buying the cheapest one will probably last longer bells and whistles are no-good!!!!!!

Delivered/Installed Broken!!!!

|

Brand new dishwasher installed on Saturday afternoon and when I used it on Sunday (less than 24 hours after delivery and installation) it did not work! You could hear the water go in and drain out but the detergent pack was on the bottom, still in its plastic wrapping, but soggy from the heat. Nothing was clean but everything was somewhat wet. Tried again on a different wash cycle and exact same result. I'm not a technician but I know what a WORKING dishwasher sounds like and this obviously was not working - wands not even spinning or spraying water. When I called the service number the woman tells me that last year they had problems with this model but it was fixed and it should work fine. BULLSH*T! Technician comes out this morning and agrees that this isn't right and after testing it determines that the washer pump did not work. He replaced that and it now seems to be working but the dishes were not completely dry when the cycle ended. Obviously Sears installation contractors are sub-par because if they had actually tested it and run a cycle after they installed it, they would have known it wasn't working. But then they would have had to take it out and take it back to Sears!!!
I'm not holding out much hope for how long this dishwasher will last. The one it replaced was a Kenmore Elite that lasted 13 years -- I'm not hard on appliances and rinse everything before it goes in. You are definitely taking a gamble if you buy this so be warned!!!

Didn't Even Last Two Years

|

Purchased August 2016, dead May 2018. 13 month warranty pretty much tells you what they think of their own quality.
