Great Product

We previously owned an older model of this same dishwasher. We decided to upgrade because our old one was not cleaning the dishes all the way, was not drying our dishes, only had one spinner on the inside, was not convenient for large loads of dishes, and was extremely loud when running. We are extremely pleased with all features of the new Kenmore Dishwasher we purchased from Sears. The new dishwasher has two spinners on the inside. It cleans our dishes with no issues and the inside is capable of handling a large load of dishes. Also, the machine is so quiet that we don’t even notice it being on most of the time. The sleek look on the outside is great as well and matches the rest of our older Kenmore products we still own. We had no issues installing this product on our own accord. The overhang of our countertop does not allow us to see the top buttons when closed to operate the machine; however, it can be preset and then pushed closed to start. There is a green light located on the outside of the machine to let us know it is on/off.

Broke in the first month and Leaked

I used this machine less than 5 times and the dishwasher leaked all over my floor. The installation company broke my pipe upon installation on the first visit. They hit a pipe and cracked it with their wrench causing a crack and slow leak. Then the dishwasher leaked and when the installer came to change it out they said the timing/ motor mechanism breaks and they see it all the time. The installation company and delivery companies are different and they do not coordinate delivery on the same day. Awful experience all around. No one will call you back from customer service. Stay away from Sears.

I kind of want to give it 4.5 stars as the only slight slight knock is its 10% smaller then others

|

So far so good. Replaced a 2 year old Whirlpool that kept leaking even after 4 fixes by the manufacturer. This one is a very solid purchase so far... about 3 months

Cleans great, Extra quiet, Energy efficient...Love My New Dishwasher

|

I bought this dishwasher in October 2016 after 3 other dishwashers failed me over a period of only 10 years. 5 months using it now and it's the best appliance purchase I have made in a long time. I love the stainless interior that keeps the dishwasher from getting food and grime from getting stuck to it. When my dishes get done washing they are Clean & Spotless. There are many options from a one hour quick cycle to 4 hours with heated drying. My electric and water bills have actually gone down since installing this fantastic dishwasher. It has a really beautiful appearance and my favorite feature is the control panel being on top instead of the front so my Grandchildren can't find the buttons to play with them. The dishwasher is Super quiet (can barely hear it running) and has tons of room for dishes, pots, pans, glass wear, etc. The silverware holder is long and slim so I can fit everything from big utensils to forks and even baby spoons stay put. Definitely would recommend it.

WHAT A PIECE OF GARBAGE!

|

Purchased this "Kenmore Elite" to find out it was anything but Elite. WIthin a year the Stainless Steel (exterior) started to rust. SEARS would NOT repair or replace the damaged stainless steel door, even thou the warranty clearly states covers parts & labor for a year on manufacturers defects. They used cheap, inferior stainless steel... how is that NOT a manufactures defect? (Side side I only used Sears's stainless steel cleaner to clean the Dishwasher - not harsh cleaning products.) Then the wheels on the upper drawer/basket dry rotten away (3 or the four wheels). of course this was after the one year warranty expired. This must be an ON GOING PROBLEM with the Kenmore Dishwasher because when I went to Sears.com to order replacement parts, the part is now new and improved with a new stainless steel bracket and is no longer dark gray plastic. this was my 5th Kenmore dishwasher over the years, but now will be my LAST Sears appliance as Sears no longer stands behind their products!! Stay away from this and any Sears appliance as they will do everything in their power not to stand behind it. Sears customer for 19 years... no longer.

Good replacement for old Kenmore

|

We bought this to replace a 10+ years old, daily-use, plastic tub, portable Kenmore dishwasher. It was actually still running well, but we wanted to finally install a stationary dishwasher, so we don't have to push it to sink every night.
In our shopping experiences, we found many online dishwasher review websites to be very misleading. For example, most of these review sites would highly rate a dishwasher for extraneous features such things as "having many wash cycles" or "super quiet" or "super energy efficient", but upon cross-checking the same models against actual user reviews, the same dishwasher had majors flaws (can't clean dishes, reliability issues, drying issues, etc)
Out of frustration in trying to sort all the reviews, we decided to stick with a Kenmore brand for this new dishwasher, because we had such good experiences with the old Kenmore. Furthermore, our main priorities in a dishwasher is 1) it must clean & dry dishes 2) it must be reliable and not break within a year. And so far, this Kenmore cleans as good or better than our old Kenmore.
We did forgo many other expensive dishwashers, advertised with many other features. We are very happy with this Kenmore so far.

So far so good

|

We purchased this dishwasher Three weeks ago from this post. So far so good. Functions well with top buttons. Seems to be a lot of moisture leftover after the cycles even with rinse aid. Very quiet so far which is great so we hope that keeps up. Seems like it's a couple inches shallower than older dishwashers but makes up with adjustable rack. The nylon racks are nice so again, hopefully they hold up with time.
