Stainless Like Your Dishes
The stainless steel tub packed inside keeps the heat in to improve drying performance and always stays looking sharp.
Very quiet and cleans well, we only had 2 issues. 1. Anchoring it to the side cabinets is very tough to secure. 2. Don't touch the front stainless steel easily smudges. if you just use the handle it's pretty much clean. Tip, do nit sit flush to cabinets you must keep it out about an inch due to the heat vent that's on the left side of the door or it will ruin the wood over time.
I used this machine less than 5 times and the dishwasher leaked all over my floor. The installation company broke my pipe upon installation on the first visit. They hit a pipe and cracked it with their wrench causing a crack and slow leak. Then the dishwasher leaked and when the installer came to change it out they said the timing/ motor mechanism breaks and they see it all the time. The installation company and delivery companies are different and they do not coordinate delivery on the same day. Awful experience all around. No one will call you back from customer service. Stay away from Sears.
This dishwasher is without a doubt the worst dishwasher I have ever owned. What a shame as it looks great in my kitchen. Often the dishes don't come clean and they never dry. It worked fine the first couple months and now a year later the dishes, glasses and flatware are dripping wet at then end of they cycle and even the next day when run overnight. I'm just sick that I threw my money away like this.
I always rinse food particles off dishes before placing them in the dishwasher, but even with that my old dishwasher wasn't quite getting the job done. So far, in the few weeks that I've had it, I've been very impressed with this dishwasher. My dishes come out spotless. The racks have no special features -- I really like those silverware drawers you sometimes see on new models -- but it's simple, fits a lot of dishes and glasses, and gets the job done.
Called sears first week of use because smart wash time was 3:09 hours but the machine would run for several minutes and add time, this cycle continued for almost 5 hours. They sent techs out 5 different times and finally fixed the problem (took 5 months to get it right). Six months later the problem started again, I used Normal Wash, it started with timer at 3:11 and 1 hours later it said I had 2:58 hours left, it ran for almost 6 hours. Yesterday I started machine timer said 3:09 and 45 min later it said 2:44 hours left. It ran for 5:16 hours. The 1 hour cycle does not clean that great so I would rather use smart or normal wash but I cant wait 5-6 hours and I bet it is not energy efficient either. Sears just wants to make another appointment and cause me to sit around the house waiting on a tech to show.
The dishwasher does a good job cleaning and it is so much quieter than previous dishwasher. I can watch TV without changing the volume.
We bought in January and installed in May (we were building). It has broke 3 times! Now the motor has burned out and will cost over $200 for the part. We are throwing this in the dump and buying anything but a Kenmore.
so far great very quit and is working great
