Built to last Dishwasher

After a week of use, I can say that this is my favorite dishwasher I've used so far. I love the ease of taking out the silverware rack, as well as the sturdy stainless steel interior. The extra washing power built into the back of the machine helps blast away difficult areas. Only time will tell, but it seems as if this machine is built to last. Very pleased with this purchase!

Within a year of having this dishwasher, the noises coming from this thing are unbelievable. It literally sounds like there are rocks on the inside being crushed up and thrown around. I don't know of any dishwasher that sounds like this. Dishwashers from the 60's don't sound this bad! I have tried calling the store multiple times to find about any warranties and also, for service to try and get this fixed. NOTHING. This is not normal. Sears absolutely does not stand behind their appliances and the quality of them. COMPLETE JUNK AND NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!

A Year Later

We purchased this dishwasher over a year ago. It is working like a champ and we run it approximately 3 times each week. The stainless steel is very sleek and I like that fingerprints are not as visible and wipe off very easily with water. Most stainless steel appliances you have to have a special cleaner in order to remove fingerprints. If you have children in the home I would highly recommend this dishwasher. There are a number of unique settings. Whether I want to just do a quick cycle, a full cycle, and steam, I was able to find all settings I needed by looking at the quick start guide. The reservoir holds a lot of quick drying liquid so that I only have to fill it once every few months. There are jets on the top, back, and underneath the top rack which help get your dishes clean.

Regrets about Kenmore model 14563 Dishwasher

I want my old Kenmore back. There are two things wrong with this model: it takes 4 hours to run a load. The 1 hour option does not get the dishes clean. Even after a long wash of over 4 hours, plates are not clean. I cooked spaghetti last night and put the dishes in the washer right after dinner. The next morning, cheese and the remains of the sauce still stuck to the plates. This is just unacceptable!

I love this dishwasher

Cleans well. Cycle is a little long I think. Quiet...yes. Bought it on Memorial Day to get the sale price and I am not sorry. It replaced a 30 year old Kitchen Aide that had seen its day. My friend has had hers for a year and suggested i get it. So far I like it and no problems. The team that installed it for me from sears was polite respectful of my floors and made suggestions and instructed me on its use. I wasn't expecting so much information . LOL It was wonderful. i like sears appliances and their service.

Don not buy this product

I bought this dish washer couple month ago while renovating my kitchen. I use it JUST ONCE and it was working perfect. The 2nd time I used it the bump stopped working! I am really disappointed becasue it is an expensive one .I thougt when I pay the money I will have super perfect one. Unfortunately if you buy a cheaper one or even used one you will get a working dish washer not this !
I have called Sears maintenance and they sent me someone to take a look. He said that the bump need to change. Now I have to wait couple more weeks to get this fixed! Do not buy this product you will waste your money.
