I compared this dishwasher with Miele products, and found many of the same features but at a much lower price. Love the 3rd shelf. Amazing how quiet and the sparkle on the dishes. Only wish extended warranty was a little cheaper. Overall, highly recommend.
I loved the look & layout of this dishwasher... after I got it, I noticed that even though I had it on High Temp Wash & Heated Dry it still was doing nothing to dry the dishes. Followed the instructions and turned up the Jet-Dry dispenser to the highest level. STILL NOT DRYING. I had FOUR service visits... The dishwasher DOES NOT have a fan to get rid of steam during dry cycle. It also DOES NOT heat the dish water to required temp on High Temp Wash setting! I can't get Sears to stand behind their product! They won't do anything! DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT. The ONLY way I can get some drying is if I set it to; High Temp Wash, Sani Rinse, and Heated Dry.... but the cycle takes ALMOST 4 HOURS! This dishwasher, while pretty, is DYSFUNCTIONAL
Dishwasher cleans dishes great but a few hours after it completed its cycle and water drained out, water would appear in the bottom of the dishwasher up to the bottom of the door. Installer came back and said there was a faulty stopper in the drain pipe. Sears came to verify and said that it was not faulty. Ended up having to change our plumbing to make the dishwasher work properly. Frustrating process but now it works well, although it's crazy that dishwasher cycles are up to 3.5 hours long!
I have purchased a number of Kenmore appliances over the years, but this is the first one that is a real lemon. It simply doesn't clean the dishes, even on the pots and pans cycle. They all come out with film and food particles almost worse than when I put them in. Silverware is filmy and stuck on food. What a waste of money!!
And the 3 rack design looked really clever but turned out to be terrible. In order to fit a normal 12oz drinking glass on the middle rack, it has to be lowered so far down that a dinner plate does not fit on the bottom rack, so the flat top rack is useless and I had to remove it.
Most of the time I wash dishes by hand and they come out cleaner.
My 15 year old dishwasher did a better job before it finally died.
We bought this dishwasher 4 years ago. We really liked the look of it and the sears sales person talked up all of the great features..within the first week it wasn’t working properly so they replaced it. Within a year multiple pieces had broken off the top shelf kept falling and the dishes Needed prewashing to come out clean even though we used the pots and pans setting. 4 years in the whole dishwasher stopped working mid cycle. We paid $700 for this. Our last dishwasher wash $200 from ********** and out washed and out lasted the kenmore elite
It does the job
I love this dishwasher with the stainless steel inside. My dishes are truly clean
