I compared this dishwasher with Miele products, and found many of the same features but at a much lower price. Love the 3rd shelf. Amazing how quiet and the sparkle on the dishes. Only wish extended warranty was a little cheaper. Overall, highly recommend.
I loved the look & layout of this dishwasher... after I got it, I noticed that even though I had it on High Temp Wash & Heated Dry it still was doing nothing to dry the dishes. Followed the instructions and turned up the Jet-Dry dispenser to the highest level. STILL NOT DRYING. I had FOUR service visits... The dishwasher DOES NOT have a fan to get rid of steam during dry cycle. It also DOES NOT heat the dish water to required temp on High Temp Wash setting! I can't get Sears to stand behind their product! They won't do anything! DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT. The ONLY way I can get some drying is if I set it to; High Temp Wash, Sani Rinse, and Heated Dry.... but the cycle takes ALMOST 4 HOURS! This dishwasher, while pretty, is DYSFUNCTIONAL
We bought this when we were building our house. Within 6months of using the dishwasher the motor broke. They came out, insisted it was my water quality, told me it’s not covered under warently and I sent them away in disbelief knowing it’s not my town water. Fast forward another six months, and 6 repairmen later, my machine is completely covered in black mold and still unusable. Sears claimes since we didn’t spend $1500 on the extended warenty they will do nothing to stand by their product. They have replaced every working part without success. We have been told that they will not replace it unless the tech declares it unfixable. The tech informed us they won’t do that as per whirlpool who makes the product won’t allow them to. They are a complete disgrace and I will NEVER recommend them.
I bought this dishwasher a month ago and I couldn’t be happier. Some of the features I love are the Sensor Wash, the third rack, which allows me to wash those items I had a hard time placing in my other dishwasher and the quietness which is amazing. It really does “dry” the dishes too.
I actually thought it wasn’t working—it’s that quiet. I like the look, the adjustable top rack; the third rack is love/hate....great when you need it, in the way when you don’t. Easy to take out though. Seems to use less detergent than our old dishwasher, for the same level of clean. Like the top controls...much easier to see. It really is super quiet.
Bought machine because highly rated by CR and good price for all the desired features. No issues with performance in first month and as quiet as expected . Installed myself with no problems. Water supply connector kit's threaded female connector was a different size than exiting under-sink supply valve male threads. Had to buy new valve; just something to check before starting installation. Prepared for two other things by earlier purchaser's comments. No power supply cord as advertised. Checked old machine found it to be hard wired, so no issue. No stemware racks at this price level, but was able to re-use the removable ones from the old Kenmore machine that this one replaced because the spacing between the vertical wires in the upper rack had not changed in 16 years!!! Only good things to say about the machine but the delivery folks were total jerks. Arrived an hour earlier than the promised time in day prior e-mail and said I had no reason to complain because I was still un-installing the old machine. Also refused to use the loading dock and utility elevator of the condo I live in and drug the new machine in through the main lobby while browbeating the Hispanic front desk employee when she said building rules forbid bringing appliances through that way. Had to get the building manager to physically prevent them from taking the old machine out the same way while they yelled at both of us that buildings were nothing but a PITA.
