This seal and save bag product works just as well as the brand name product in my FoodSaver vacuum sealer. It is much cheaper than the brand product also.
I found the Seal-N-Save rolls at my local Sears, and as they were lower priced than the Food Saver rolls I had bee using, I bouyght a couple of rolls to try them out. Cutting the bags to length was no plrobem. The material also seemed durable enough.
The problem was that the inside texture was striped rather than the quilted of the Food Saver rolls. I am not sure why, but this let to sevearl bags not completely sealing, and requireing a second pass in the sealing machine. To me this was a very tedious process, so I returned to the other brand and have had no problems since.
These bags will work for sealing food, but be sure and double check them before adding them to the freezer.
I ordered on-line & picked up in Brockton,MA store. The charge to me was $19.98 for 2, however, the boxes were marked down to $5.97 each. Shouldn't I have ben charged the reduced price
When I ordered the Kenmore seal bags the young lady that did the stored home for me put for free shipping by the time we went to check out they charged me for shipping and handling was not happy about that.
When I called sears.com to ask about my order the lady could not even look up my order for me she said if I had any questions I had to go back to the store that I bought it at she was not very helpful
I use this brand of Seal-N-Save bag because they are excellant, They hold the vacume and do not come apart.
