My wife and I were very skeptical about buying this washer. The reviews were up and down. Some good some bad. Our old Kenmore was on it's last leg leaking in 3 different places and had been repaired many times over the years. We needed something dependable that would clean as its suppose to and hopefully save us some money on the water bill. I do believe we have found that in this washer. We are old school and really don't like change but the changes are coming and are probably here to stay. This machine has an agitator that works in 3 different way. The machine does use less water than the normal fill it up type. In some reviews it was said that the clothes were not even wet and the spinning cycle caused them to be so wrinkled that ironing wouldn't get them out. I think that's hog wash lol. The machine does make some strange noises that we aren't accustom to but don't be alarmed. It is suppose to. The machine weighs the clothes then adds the appropriate amount of water. If you read the simple quick start instructions you will not have any problems. Our clothes have come out wet , clean smelling , and not wrinkled beyond belief as another review stated. Bottom line is. My wife is very happy with it and that makes me happy ! Don't be afraid to buy this machine.
did not like lid locking very, very noisy cycles took way too long I wanted to be able to pick my own water level I had one wk went back bought a ge its more like the old school mahine I just buried
Don't expect to get a load done within an hour. Takes an hour plus to finish any load. Makes strange noises during was cycle. This is not your old style machine. Cleans clothes OK but you must lessen the volume of loads.
It ruins your clothes. So disappointed in Sears Products since they merged with another company
Bought this some time ago so I can say that it works well, is quiet and has not needed any service.
Had it's issues from the beginning. The "sensing" portion required to start the wash and the different cycles are frustrating. Only had the washer a little over a year and now have to buy another one.
