Triple Action Impeller Revs Up Cleaning Power
Kenmore’s Triple Action Impeller uses a 3-part wash motion to make easy work out of tough laundry. Wash basket motion, 9 powerful spray jets, and a burst of concentrated detergent ensure a better overall clean for your laundry using less water.
Optimized Cleaning Power for Any Load
Choose from 11 different wash cycles and 3 different cycle options to get your laundry clean, clean, clean. The Express cycle gets a small load done in 30 minutes or less, perfect for when you need clothes now. The Deep Fill
The previous negative reviews this Kenmore 3.6 top-load washing machine are way off base and show a complete misunderstanding of the features of the machine and, indeed, how to operate it. The sensing feature takes only the first time to get used to it, and the point of the sensing feature is to save you money. You CAN get the lid to unlock and add a garment mid-cycle (when all else fails, read the instructions). It has many features and options, is reasonably quiet, the clothes come out sparkling clean, and the cycles take maybe two minutes longer b/c of the sensing feature. At this price point, this Kenmore 3.6 top-load is a wonderful washing machine.
I bought this washer 6 months ago and it is the worst washer ever! My old beat up washing machine cleaned the clothes 1000% better. The whites come out gray and dingy and it does not remove stains (even with pre treatment). How is a washer energy efficient if you have to wash them 3x just to get them marginally clean? The problem is the technology employed. Clothes need to move and agitate in a decent amount of water to get clean. This machine does neither. Buyers beware don't buy this machine.
Don't expect to get a load done within an hour. Takes an hour plus to finish any load. Makes strange noises during was cycle. This is not your old style machine. Cleans clothes OK but you must lessen the volume of loads.
It ruins your clothes. So disappointed in Sears Products since they merged with another company
Bought this some time ago so I can say that it works well, is quiet and has not needed any service.
Had it's issues from the beginning. The "sensing" portion required to start the wash and the different cycles are frustrating. Only had the washer a little over a year and now have to buy another one.
