Very Good Value For $$/Features

This unit replaced a 15-year old similar model that was more expensive back then but had several additional cycles/features. We ran the 'normal wash' cycle for the first time today with a full load, making sure to add the Jet-Dry to combat other reviewers' complaints of dishes that were spotted and/or not fully dry. Cycle time was just under 2 hours with heated dry (about the same as our old unit) and the dishes were completely dry and spot-free. There was some condensation on the sidewalls and a few residual water drops on the plastic silverware bin, but not objectionable. This unit was noticeably more quiet during its run time than the older unit and they both made about the same amount of gurgling noises when draining. All-in-all a very decent unit at an acceptable price point. The racks seem a little flimsier than what they replaced but they should still last for some years.

Small Capacity

We purchased this dishwasher in May of 2014 to replace our 17-year-old Kenmore. We made the purchase online after reading many descriptions and reviews. We were very disappointed when the dishwasher arrived because the bottom rack is 2 1/2" shorter and the top rack is about 1/2'' narrower than our previous dishwasher. The capacity is totally inadequate for our family! After searching in vain for dimensions of dishwasher racks on numerous models, we visited a local Sears store with our metal tape measure in hand. We discovered several Kenmore models with rack dimensions that equal or exceed our old model. We decided to exchange this Models 1301 for Model 1304 which is like this model 1303 except the bottom rack is 2 1/2" longer and the racks are about 3/4" wider. Also, the top rack in the 1304 is height adjustable. The Model 1304 includes "turbo wash" sprayer at the back of the dishwasher, but I have not used this wash option yet. I am very happy with the Model 1304! I don't recommend the Model 1303 if you routinely wash dishes for more than 3 people.

Doing it's job

My only criticism is the latch/catch that keeps the door closed; it's a flimsy plastic piece that I fully expect to break within the first year. Otherwise it seems to be doing it's job very well.

Great Dishwasher

This is a really nice dishwasher, it is very quiet and easy to use, has a lot of room in it for pots and pans everything fits in it nicely.I really like the sears site where you can compare different dishwashers I found this very helpful in choosing the right one for me.

Awesome Deal!

We got a steal on this dishwasher. It is completely quiet, and doesn't leave anything behind. Was very easy to install, and only took a few minutes.

So QUIET you can hear a mouse *** on cotton!

I was in need of a dishwasher, and when speaking to a friend about appliances he mentioned, " Be sure to get on that is super quiet! Yeah they are a little more expensive but your sanity will thank you." That was something that I was NOT considering when looking at dishwashers prior to talking with him. But he made a valid point. I bought this dishwasher because of the terrific sale at Sears, plus the sales guys are always great! It was a steal at the sale price! It was delivered and installed on the same day. When washing my first load of dishes, i thought the machine was broken, it was as quiet as a Prius sneaking up behind you. I saw the light were on and the setting set to wash, and was presently surprised to see that it was actually washing while respecting the household noise level. It looks great! and works terrific! It even has a sanitation setting, which I learned kills 99.9% of bacteria! That setting alone is worth it!

Good machine

This washer replaced an old, outdated machine that was in the house when I bought it. I checked the features on many machines and decided this dishwasher would do the job for me. I had it installe and have run several loads through it. It is much quieter than my old machine, has a number of features that my old one didn't have, and cleans everything very well. I am very pleased with it.

Works great

Dishes are very clean and shinny. It is very quiet. Does not have a grinder disposer but has an easy to remove basket you can empty. We have only had it a few weeks but we really like it so far.

Good Value

Purchased on sale. Plain, functional, not overpriced or full of useless functions. Fairly quiet. My last Kenmore dishwasher lasted 12 years, hoping for at least that long for this one.
