Sleek, Chic, and Quiet
Although there are plenty of good reviews, the bad ones almost made me change my mind about purchasing this set. I am SO glad I didn’t listen. I love everything about it. The size is amazing! The settings are great and easy to learn. You can customize them any way you want. I like to wash most clothes in cold water and I hang dry a lot. It does spin super fast, which can make wrinkles in clothes for hang drying...but you can change the spin speed. I haven’t had any issues with the water level. My clothes are evenly wet. I feel like the washer gets the clothes very clean. The cycles are around 45min - 1 hr. Note: If your current washer is leaving lint on your clothes...it might seem like this one is too. It takes a few times through to get everything off your old washer was putting on.
I can't tell you how much we wanted to like this product. We were replacing our 15-20+ year old washer that was working fine (but our dryer died and we thought we'd replace both). Here are our concerns: --This washer consistently leaves my dress shirts so smelly that my underarms at work begin smelling terrible within 1-2 hours after I get to work (unlike our old machine which left them smelling great). It is embarrassing and not acceptable. --This machine consistently leaves my "no-iron" dress shirts so wrinkled that I could not wear them without having ironed each one (& I'm terrible at it). (Note that I hang my shirts to dry rather than use the dryer so they don't shrink; however, the older washer left my shirts unwrinkled.) --The local Sears manager gave me some good suggestions for addressing the smell issue. He had me use powdered detergent instead of liquid because it reportedly dissolves better. This washer then proceeded to leave smears of white, undiluted powdered detergent on several of my garments. We also tried a new scent-boosting product, but it has not resolved the issue. Thus, we are currently taking my dress shirts to my in-laws to wash in their less expensive washer (and it works great!). The local manager is being kind and exchanging out this washer for one with an agitator. It will not be "energy efficient"....however, we are currently saving no energy because of needing to wash garments twice and then run two extra rinse cycles per load (thus, taking hours per load). My wife aptly asked an hour ago why any manufacturer would make a product like this. Please save yourself the time and frustration by choosing a different product.
This washing machine is more than terrible. It fills under the clothes line and leaves soap residue. No matter what I do the clothes come out with tiny deep set wrinkles that the dryer won't even get out. It is ruining all of our clothes
So far, works like a champ. Purchased on 1 Nov and have been using steadily for a week. Encountered no problems specified in many reviews, but I also read and follow the instructions...such as leaving the door open when not in use to avoid odors. Machine uses much less water, sometimes barely covering clothes, but everything gets clean. Should anything happen in coming months to make me change my mind, will re-post a review
The water does not start running until the lid is shut. We like it to run with the lid open so we can rinse the detergent cup.
I’ve had this washer for 2 months now and highly regret buying it! It does not wash clothes good, my towels stink, my sheets come out with dry spots, and worst of all I’ve tried washing tablecloths and they come out filthy! I’ve called customer service 3 times already and have done what they’ve told me and it’s still not working! I feel ripped off and bought a warranty for 3 years..what the purpose of that if I’m not satisfied with its performance??!!! It’s so upsetting!!! I wish I could get my money back!! SO DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS JUNK!!
