We have had good luck with our washer. I'm a woodworker and like to work on my own power equipment so my clothes get dirty. Pros: It gets my clothes clean using a 1/5 of the soap and water our old HE washer used. Im tall and my clothes are BIG, I dont want to be doing loads of laundry all week. This thing has the largest tub I have seen. It also seems robust enough to handle the large loads too (nothing like hearing a washer struggle to spin) Cons: The bedding setting doesn't work very well. There have been a couple wash cycles where it didn't get all the soap out (might have been me using a lot of detergent). It takes about 45 minutes to wash your clothes. The add more water feature only works on certain settings, and it is not the settings I use.
I do not care for this machine or the "HE" haha!! It takes twice as long to do my laundry therefor taking up my time! I do not care for the low water table and the extra water only works on a few cycles. Tennis shoes don't get clean on the inside or even the bottom. Manufacture recommends to load loose ...... I would prefer the middle agitator at least the shoes made it to the bottom of the laundry and got wet and clean. Blankets and towels sometimes are wrapped over the entire load like a basket....no impressed...
The machine does not use enough water and I have to double rinse to make sure clothes don't have any soap left, definitely needs more water during any wash cycle
So far so good
I use this washer in my home. It is very pretty and I love the big tub....However! Because it's suppose to save you by using less water, hardly any water comes into the tub. You have this huge tube with little to no water washing your clothes. The option to correct that is to use a setting called "deep fill" and to be honest, it doesn't fill the tub either. On a regular setting with a full tub of clothes, all of them do not get wet. The purpose of the big tub is to wash larger items like comforters, pillows etc. I tried it... those do not fully get wet with. I feel that there should at least be a release so that if you decide you do not want to utilize the water save feature, you don't have to. Also, the Impeller hardly moves the clothes around when the tub is full. It just doesn't seem like the clothes are getting washed well at all. I would not recommend this item.
After reading some of the negative reviews and doing first load of laundry with such a low water level, I was tempted to return it and upgrade the next day. However, I’ve discovered that washing on heavy duty, bulky, cold clean (everything to left of normal setting) does allow for the deep fill button to be an option resulting in plenty of water. This washer (and matching dryer) were purchased for my fiancées house replacing a 25 year old set. I have a 2011 front loader at home, so I was used to having less water. I wasn’t sure if he could live with it. 4 loads of laundry done....Very clean. Like the sleek slate look. Only negative...it’s not as quiet as my unit at home. This isn’t a huge issue for me. I read some reviews. If the washer is jumping around, it’s an installation issue and needs to be leveled. I washed a large blanket and this wasn’t an issue. Make sure you read what type of detergent to use and to pull out drawer if using powder. Happy with purchase.
