We have had good luck with our washer. I'm a woodworker and like to work on my own power equipment so my clothes get dirty. Pros: It gets my clothes clean using a 1/5 of the soap and water our old HE washer used. Im tall and my clothes are BIG, I dont want to be doing loads of laundry all week. This thing has the largest tub I have seen. It also seems robust enough to handle the large loads too (nothing like hearing a washer struggle to spin) Cons: The bedding setting doesn't work very well. There have been a couple wash cycles where it didn't get all the soap out (might have been me using a lot of detergent). It takes about 45 minutes to wash your clothes. The add more water feature only works on certain settings, and it is not the settings I use.
I do not care for this machine or the "HE" haha!! It takes twice as long to do my laundry therefor taking up my time! I do not care for the low water table and the extra water only works on a few cycles. Tennis shoes don't get clean on the inside or even the bottom. Manufacture recommends to load loose ...... I would prefer the middle agitator at least the shoes made it to the bottom of the laundry and got wet and clean. Blankets and towels sometimes are wrapped over the entire load like a basket....no impressed...
It's great on water saving, I use it for all my clothes and bedding, everything comes clean and fresh.
Washes very large loads, maybe a little noisey, but nothing that can't be dealt with, and no fast delivery.
This experience with this Kenmore washer has been terrible!! Drive train went after 1 tear and 3 months. Noone can help, its NOONE's job at SEARS to help you. Didnt buy the 469$ warranty? Oh well...you are out of luck...might as well through away the 800$ washer...as its a piece of junk!!
I love the way it washes everything.. From shoes to blankets as long as you use the right products. Yes it has a low water level but still cleans great!!! I've been buying all my appliances from Sears for over 96 years and I've never had a problem with them.
I was very skeptical about getting this washer but I wanted this biggest one I could afford and this one happened to be on sale. My test load was my mother in laws laundry because she is blind and is like a small child when eating. So I put her clothing on heavy duty, extremely soiled, deep fill and stain boost. Now yes it did take like and hour and 20 minutes to wash her clothes but they came out perfectly clean with no problems. Since then I have washed several loads and even my husbands work clothes come out great. The only problem I have with it is you cannot use the deep fill option on the sanitize w/oxi option. I cannot say anything about the longevity of the product as I have only a week but I am very hopeful.
Hate it....is very loud and doesn't use nearly enough water. Always leaves whit spots on dark clothes even when I've tried using less detergent, 2 rinses, and deep fill. I agree using less water is good, but this machine uses so little it doesn't even cover the clothes, leaving soap residue and spots that have ruined many of my clothes,
We loved the look of this washer and it seems to do a pretty good job of cleaning. But if you put a single item like a blanket in it, the thing will dance all over the room on the spin cycle. It actually knocked over a small cabinet next to it the last time it did this. What happened to the old style that would stop if it was off balance- Not this one. It looks like and sounds like it will take the wall down with it. So, this is a mixed review!
Very satisfied with the purchased
