Sears came through when the local big box stores couldn't. My washer failed...the local stores couldn't deliver this model for 2 months. Sears delivered and setup the washer in a week and a half. This is a very nice washer...I will purchase the matching Kenmore dryer next month. I am very pleased with this purchase...Delivery and Setup were a breeze.
Problems started a month after delivery. Machine was very loud and did not seem to be running properly, 1st service call could not find anything wrong but said this washer is normally loud. Stuck it out another few months but noise got worse, service call in May still could not find anything wrong but changed out some parts. Same day after repairman left did some laundry washer got worse, louder , ( when I say loud my neighbors could hear it outside! it sounded like rocks and chains in the garbage disposal) would not completer cycles, and ruined clothes. Started writing everything down what it was doing and when, even took videos so I could show the next repairman. Now we are in June and a 3rd repairman comes out still could not find anything wrong showed him notes and videos but not good enough so just before he leaves it started making the awful noise. Now new parts are ordered( but he's not sure it will fix it) Parts not in stock and are on backorder, Asked Sears to exchange machine its obviously a Lemon. Sears said parts have to be backordered at least 30 days before they can replace. So now we've been without a washer since June 4, after 30 days and talking with several very unhelpful and rude not to mention lots of false information we're told a new washer will be delivered July 24 which has now been changed to Aug.5. Really Sears this is how you treat your loyal customers? We have always purchased our appliances at Sears in the store which that in itself has become difficult to find a salesperson that knows anything about the appliance. This might be a good washer, hopefully we will find out if we ever get a proper working one but I think its safe to say we are no longer Sears customers

Three delivered - all DOA
|Stay away from this one. Had no less than three delivered and ALL would not even power up. There is a definite problem with this model.

|Really like my washer but will NEVER order from Sears again. Really wish I would have just purchased from someone else.

|Took me a day to get familiar with a modern machine, I come from a long line of agitator washing machines. This unit works great, the tub is way more larger than I expected. I find myself using smaller loads than larger loads, which is perfect for the HE function.
