Kenmore gas range

A lot better than the last one I had.....compared to the last one, it cooks and bakes much faster. Now I have to learn all over again. My old one was terrible! Only baked on one side so I had to keep turning the pans so everything got cooked. Such a pleasure not to have to keep watch over dinners....Thanks

burners go out

As soon as the range was installed, the right front and left rear burners, when on low setting, often go out, especially when the oven is on, and gas enters the room. After three service calls, the repair man could not solve the problem, and declared it unrepairable. Under the warranty Sears offered to replace it, but I am afraid that it is a design problem and another of the same would do the same. I had a plumber check the gas supply and all was in order.

my only option

beware this stove had a lot of different measurements and was advertised as a 39 inch stove but when u read the specs the top part is 41.5!! screws and "side wings" made it difficult to "slide" in...the fan can be annoying and there is a "new smell" odor when the oven is used...the same, older model lasted me 11 years and this was the only slide model i could use since it had the ledge that covered the counter gap..

Kenmore 32603 4.5 cu.ft. slide-in gas range - stainless steel

|

This item was to replace a 12-year old Kenmore Elite dual fuel range. We gave the model info of the old range to someone online for a recommendation: our goal was to make a smooth transition. Unfortunately, the new stove is not fitting. I think this can be corrected if we move the gas line. Sigh...

stainless steel perfection

I'm super excited about my new stove, Sears delivered free on its special promotion. The sale they had helped me afford it along with the 12mo zero %  financing with Sears card!
