Decent Fan

The fan is much smaller than expected but does move a decent amount of air for its size. At $59.99, it is very overpriced, especially lacking features such as remote, or reversible in/out air, that other similar fans have at a lower cost. Have not had it long enough to comment on longevity.

Decent window fan

The fan moves air about as well as a fan half the price, but does have a shorter profile. The thermostat feature is a nice plus over a cheaper fan as well. However the box indicates that the fan's motors are individually controlled; this is not quite the case. If the fan is on low the center motor turns, if the fan is on medium the two outside motors turn, and if the fan is on high all three turn. I was expecting something more like the ability to set one of the motors to move air outside of the window while another of the motors moved air in, and the fan can do nothing like this.

Powerful and quiet. Cools room down nicely. I like it.

Sor far, so good. I wish it was wider.

|

We have some older windows so, even with the extensions, the fan baffles are not wide enough. If they would provide an extra inch or two in extensions, I would give them a 5.

Returned for multiple reasons

|

I returned this item because:
> One of the three blades made a loud knocking noise
> It was WAY smaller than I thought it was going to be. My fault for not carefully checking the dimensions. It's roughly the same width as 2-blade window fans, which means it's not very tall at all.
> It's pretty weak and doesn't move much air. The whole reason I bought it was I thought it was going to be big and would move a lot of air with the three blades. But it isn't and it doesn't...

Would not buy again.

I wanted a quiet exhaust fan for my front porch that I could fit vertically without taking out the screen. This will only fit if it is blowing in, tried reversing it and it won't fit. It only has a single ridge to keep it from falling out of the window, so twice a strong gust of wind blew it on the floor. The controls have no individual settings, so you have to cycle through all the settings each time you change it. They do make one with manual individual controls that would probably be more convenient.
