This grill has a lot of assembly needed. However, I found most of the parts lined up well. I recommend having a drill or a round file to open up the clearance holes slightly if alignment isn't perfect. The steel thickness is what you would expect from a grill at that price. I had all hoses and regulators included, only item needed is a tank, but that is very typical now when purchasing new grills. There was no shipping damage and grill looks great for price.
I was forced to replace a kenmore grill I bought 3 years ago because the ledge that supported the burners rotted out. Because of the price point I was reluctantly convinced (by the wife) to purchase this grill. My dream grill @ $900 bucks would have to wait. Unfortunately this grill is so bad I refuse to go a full season with it. While time consuming the grill was relatively easy to put together. The extra thin sheet metal is cheap and flimsy but for the price u get what u pay for. My biggest disappointment is the lack of heat it generates, more accurately does not generate. The grill never gets above 500 degrees with all 4 burners on high, lid closed and running for over 20 minutes. I would have overlooked everything else except for the lack of power. Barely sears meat (ha..ha..) making it impossible to get that charded outside and rare inside that makes grilled meats awesome. For 300 I would recommend that you get the grill with the sear burner. It's the one that rotted out on me in just under 3years (yes I'm still bitter) but it would at least reach 575-600 degrees. I'll be selling, trading, donating this grill shortly after 1 month of ownership. I blame any typos or grammatical inaccuracies in the above on the alcohol. Lol. Hope this helped.
The construction of the grill is very cheap. I actually paid a Sears Hometown store a fee to assemble the grill and its not square. I honestly don't think its possible with the flimsy materials. Second day I had the grill, a wheel popped off. The bracket that holds the wheel is attached to the frame with 6 tiny tack weld. They don't hold! I went cheap and this is what I get for doing so.
The Kenmore 4 Burner Stainless Steel Lid Gas Grill with Storage is the grill we have been looking for. It has everything you can imagine. It's a sharp looking grill.
The Kenmore 4 Burner Stainless Steel Lid Gas Grill with Storage is a top of the line grill. We really love the electronic ignition and all the extra storage.
My husband got this grill for Christmas. He got it put it together by himself. Love the storage. Cooks great.
I love the grill. Very nice. Half way from putting it together, there was a very important part missing. But, I contacted the Parts dept. for kenmore and they sent another one. Received it in just a couple of days. That is the only reason why i didn't give a five star.
I really loved the Kenmore grill from Sears. I really liked the sale right before Christmas and all the points back i received. I also bought a Kenmore range and Microwave and i am very happy.
The grill has been fantastic! I have been grilling for the past two days and had had no troubles! There is a problem with aligning screws! One of the stand entry ports does not align therefore you cannot screw it together! The shelves are flimsy so do not put too much weight on it!
This is our second Kenmore grill and we love it. Assembly instructions could be written better and parts need to be more clearly labeled. How hard can it be to number each part in order of assembly? Wish the storage compartments were fully enclosed so that dirt and debris cannot enter them. Also could use a handle with tool hooks on the left hand side to more easily move grill around and have a place to hang your grill tools.
