This is a great washer for small spaces. I question whether some of the complaints on this site are from paid trolls (not saying it's true, just wondering). Complaints about the door not closing properly and the Start button being hard to press are absurd. Gets clothes clean, much quieter than my old machine. Has a cool Rinse & Spin cycle. Also, I had three different pairs of workmen come for the installation (long story) and all of them were courteous, knowledgeable and professional. One man identified that the first machine had something wrong with it before he even brought it into the house, saved me time and trouble. Two things I wish were different on the machine: the choices for drying times are 30, 60 and 90 with nothing in between. Not a big deal. Also, the way the rubber rim on the inside is constructed, water collects in it after each wash. To prevent possible bacteria buildup, I stick a towel in there when I'm done with the machine to soak up that little bit of water. But overall I love this washer! Thank you Sears. All my Sears appliances have been great.
Do not waste your money on this washer, it's terrible. We're on our third service call in 2 months. It won't spin the water out. They are ordering a new control panel but aren't sure if that's the problem. Customer service is terrible. They give you an 8-5 service window so I have to lose a whole days pay just to wait all day for them to show up. Now I have to use the laundromat for a week until they get the part in and then take another day off. This is ridiculous, it's a brand new washer. They won't exchange it because it's passed the 30 days. (I've had it 70). I'm very very disappointed with this product.
The washing machine does not hold as many clothes as my old washer. It works good on smaller loads though, but when Sears delivered it and set it up they broke my water pipes and it ruined my dry wall and everything in my laundry room wall had to be replaced as well as pipes.Still waiting to be reimbursed for plumber and expenses to repair my wall.

Less than 4 months old, two service calls already: The door latch failed after 3 months use, which made the washer unusable. The soap dispenser drawer very poorly constructed; the cover plate broke off after 4 months. Can't wash small throw rugs or large loads of towels, etc. Compared to previous washer which went over 10 years with no service calls and which handled the wash loads mentioned, this model is a cheap, barely adequate appliance. DO NOT BUY!
