I wanted a refrigerator without an icemaker. I did not want to deal with the possibility of water leaks.. I know a large family would think differently. I bought my last refrigerator May 5, 1991. It is like having a 1991 vehicle to a 2017 vehicle. I would want one more, refrigerator and freezer shelf. It did not come with a ice cube holder or tray bracket. I'm sure ******* will have this. The experience at the store in Northridge, CA and the delivery was seamless, knowledgeable, pleasant and professional. It is sad that the company Sears Holding, is cannibalizing a business model, that was the ****** of the 1800's and 1900's. This is an example of Corporate greed at its ugliest.
Product - 5 STARS - seems to work fine - it's only been 2 days. Pizza does fit in freezer horizontally. Wanted this item because it's for extra storage and didn't want ice-maker occupying space for food (love to stock up on groceries when they are on sale). Delivery was very very poor. The two men refused to unpack and set up refrigerator. They claim their ticket didn't specify set up - only delivery - which was set up online by me. There was no option regarding setup and carry away packaging online. I also called customer service to confirm the day before and he did not mention anything about set up and removing packaging. Quite upset. Called manager of local Sears and should hear back tomorrow from appliance manager. One positive - we paid an extra $15 to receive delivery within a 4 hour time period versus an all day 9 hour wait, and item was delivered on time.
I love it! It's just the right size for the space I have. But inside the frig is roomy too. Like the color & the price
$1100 bill to repair and $1100 refrigerator = planned obsolescence. Weirdly enough, the $700 compressor gives out just after the warranty expires. It's a win-win for Kenmore.
This is JUNK. Three days after I had it delivered, the compressor and evaporator died a natural death. Sears couldn't assure me when replacement parts would arrive, so I decided to return the refrig to Sears and buy another refrig from another supplier. I NEEDED A REFRIGERATOR. Now Sears won't refund all of my original purchase. I'M DONE WITH SEARS. THEY'RE IMPOSSIBLE TO DEAL WITH, CONSIDERING ALL THEIR PHONE SUPPORT COMES FROM THE PHILLIPINES.
Received the unit suppose to be new, with obvious signs of being repackaged used. Refrigerator side would not cool properly. Maintenance was going to take two weeks for first appointment. Now I see why Sears is losing so much business.
We looked for a refrigerator for awhile. Very glad we selected this one. Looks good and has more than enough room inside.
