Laundry Done the Right Way
Saves Time & Energy
Delivery service was very casual and careful, the only draw back was delivered schedule had been changed for 4 days delay since our soiled laundry stacked up. The washer is very easy to operate, it is very quiet with high speed spinning, it also leaves laundry very dry so it requests less time for the dryer. Good product so far.
We had this particular model for two years before it began sounding like a jet engine during the spin cycle. This is our third front load washer in eight years. We do not abuse the washing machine through overuse or overloading, and hard water is not an issue. All three machines we have replaced have the same problem - the bearings that spin the drum inside the machine wear out and require replacing, an $800 fix. This time I purchased a Sears appliance warranty agreement instead of replacing the washer. One part came in; two have been on backorder for 8+weeks. Currently waiting on those other two parts and have not been given a firm delivery or repair date. The washer works great, but I cannot recommend it unless you don't mind getting a new machine every two years. The only complaint I had before this issue was that sometimes the control panel wouldn't work and I'd have to open and close the door several times before I could start a cycle.
Purchased this washer in October 2018. Wished I hadn't. It shakes the house terribly. I think primarily because it will not fill with water. It has ruined my towels and socks. They feel like cardboard now. we have tried "tricking" it by letting it wet the clothes, then they are heavier. Then turning off the machine and restarting. This does give a little more water, but not enough to rinse out the soap (even though we are using the recommended low sudsing stuff). We even tried adding a few gallons of water but that takes time and the machine just empties it. We had Sears come out and take a look to see if they could get it to provide more water, but they said that a federal regulation now limits now much water these front loaders can draw. That's ridiculous. Everyone tries to convince us that there is enough water, but that's so much ****! Convince my clothes, please! If there was enough water I wouldn't have to buy new towels and socks when I get rid of this thing. Sales people should be required to disclose this! I can only wash 2 towels at a time without it shaking the house so bad it feels like it's coming off the foundation! Another thing. There is a flaw in the design of the fabric softener dispenser. It doesn't ever empty of water. I have to pull the entire dispenser drawer out and empty the water every time I wash so that I can put more softener for the next load. Otherwise when I add the softener it just spills over and into the wash water. Very irritating. A very expensive machine too. Don't buy it.
Steam option, sensor drying, 7.0 capacity. Great value on sale!
We bought this online thru our local store with a coupon, it was only $600. Greatest deal on a washer! It's big, fast and quiet; cleans and rinses efficiently leaving no soap residue behind. Clothes do not get tangled or twisted. Has nice bonus features. I'm hoping it will last because I love it.
I bought this a few weeks and I am in love. I was without a washer for a while and spending hundreds of dollars at the cleaners. Now, I finally can wash a home again. The Kenmore cleans my clothes well and I like the different features, like the high spin cycle and the auto soak. option. I really enjoy my Kenmore. Thanks!
