Shipped with the wrong stacking kit. Sears refused to exchange for the correct kit, because it had been slightly more than 30 days. We didn't get it installed earlier than that because of delays in our home renovation.
Would have given it a 5, but it leaves to much water in the soap drawer and in the tub after washing. Have to empty the soap compartment, wipe down and soak up puddle in the rubber gasket. Otherwise am pleased with how well it washes.
I had this washer in a different house and decided to buy another one for my new place.
I have enjoyed this washer, however somehow it was installed incorrectly by Sears when delivered on 2/20/18 and broke down 4/27/18 due to water dripping on the components. I called for service which was done on May 2nd and parts ordered. It has spiraled out of control since then. One part arrived 5/24 however the next part not scheduled until 6/10. I then requested a replacement washer. For that, I must wait 21 working days, then it changed to 30 calendar days (by my count it's not actually the same) On June 4th I called again and a case was started. I don't understand why I had to wait so long since obviously the necessary part would not be available until maybe the week of June 10th which is outside their 21 working day timeframe for a replacement. Continuing, as of June 4th I need to wait 3-5 working days for a determination. I've called twice 3x during that time frame to keep things moving and am still waiting as of today, 45 days after the breakdown! Just want everyone to know that the machine is great, however be prepared to go through a horrible process. Everyone in the process pats you on your head saying they understand along with other platitudes, meanwhile I am lugging laundry to a laundromat which is miles away from our home. Don't know when this will be resolved but I will not purchase another Kenmore product and will definitely not sign up for their warranty plans! Please note the poor rating is due to the service issue, not the machine
Great machine. It is so quiet and my clothes come so clean I am so pleased.
These appliances are used infrequently in a guest house. The several times they have been used, they did a great job. A significant reason we purchased this Washer/Dryer combo was because of the feature where the control panel of the top Dryer can be relocated to the bottom of the machine to make it easier to reach for a short women. My wife is short. It has worked out great. A terrific feature that has been long in coming.
