Terrible experience from beginning to end, when I finally cancelled the order. This was a replacement for the same washer which we purchased new 5.5 years ago. It stopped working, and a Sear repairman came out and told us we would be better off buying a new one, as repairs would be above $700. We expressed surprise, and he told us they only last about 5 years, typically. I attempted to purchase a new one online and via phone, but the system was down. A few days later, I was able to purchase online, and delivery was set for 2 weeks from then. Delivery was then delayed twice, and even after I spoke to someone and confirmed receipt of the changes, Sears called me at least 10 times, all day and evening with an automated message about the change. They refused to offer any financial compensation for the repeated delays, and when I asked for a supervisor, they said someone would have to call me back. No one ever called me back, and when I called again, they said the supervisor noted a call to me that went unanswered. They gave me the time of the call. There was no call at that time, and nothing logged on my phone. We finally cancelled the order and had a washer delivered from Beat Buy two days later. Will never order from Sears again, after having been a loyal customer for years.
So far, so good, but a little complicated with all the options. I definitely need to read up on it more.
